All of this has happened before and all of it will happen again.

The blackness was deep, vast, and eternal. It had always been this way. There was nothing. No light, no sound, no subtle shifting; just the pressure of everything being there and nothing at the same time. As if matter wasn't real, as if the particles that make up reality weren't actually there. The darkness was a void that stretched on forever, beyond what should have been possible to conceive.

Yet somehow he did conceive it. The thought of his own conception struck him like a bolt from the blue. How? How could he think anything? How could he exist without a body or even a mind? He tried to speak but found that he had no mouth or lungs to do so. He was merely an observer in a void that existed outside of time and space itself!

He couldn't fathom how he could be so aware yet simultaneously not be anything at all! He was aware but couldn't move, think, or act on his own volition! After what seemed like an eternity of this existential riddle he felt... something... stirring within him. He was being pushed towards something! Not by any other force but by himself! He didn't know how but in some inexplicable way he felt himself pressing forward towards something else. A point where things were different, where there was more than just him and the void around him!

As he approached it his mind started to work again, not in the way it normally would though. Everything felt slowed down and distant but also clear and vivid at the same time. It was as if his thoughts were no longer being lost in a sea of other thoughts rushing through his head but rather calmly floating through the water's surface without being stirred up at all! It took him a moment to realize what had happened: for some unexplained reason he didn't feel confused anymore! His thoughts had become clear and rational!

It wasn't long before he realized what had caused all of this: a figure appeared out of the darkness before him. A man dressed in flowing white robes and with a beard reaching down to his waistline sat cross-legged on a square platform floating in midair between two pillars both covered in archaic writing he couldn't decipher even though they looked familiar to him at once. The man's eyes were closed and his face bore an expression of perfect serenity while he held two cups adorned with seven-pointed stars filled with wine in each hand outstretched in front of himself with only one finger touching them each as if afraid to spill them even though they were suspended in midair without any visible means supporting them. It didn't take him long to realize who this man was: it was Moses from biblical times! Only Moses hadn't looked like this when he'd met him back then! Not only did this person look like Moses but their presence here meant that it really *was* Moses *here* now! The realization hit him like a truck! This place wasn't just inside his mind anymore but actually existed somewhere outside of him too! Everything that had happened since meeting Moses had actually happened after all! But how? Why? How could such an impossible thing be true!?

"I'm glad you finally made it my son" said Moses' voice as he opened his eyes "I've been waiting for you..." The old prophet's voice sounded calm, collected, and full of wisdom as ever but Geordan didn't have time to process any more than that as the world around them suddenly started spinning faster than either of them could grasp what was happening before everything went black once more and everything started over again...
