Beyond the Horizon: Florencia and Namjoon's Epic Adventure

She was running, again. The endless dark corridors and the flickering lights were all that she knew of this place. She used to play a VR game like this, one where you fought monsters with your friends and earned experience. But this was not the same.

She didn't know how long she had been down here. It felt like years, but she was sure that was impossible. She had no way of telling time or even remembering what day it was. The only thing that kept her company in this dark underground labyrinth was Namjoon. When she first met him, she thought he was the most handsome man she had ever seen. His deep brown eyes and tall stature made her dither when they first met in Hellfire Pass. But he didn't feel the same way.

He never showed his feelings for her, but then again, she hadn't shown hers either. They worked together efficiently to fight off the robotic soldiers that kept coming after them, but they never talked about their feelings for each other...or anyone else's feelings for that matter. They merely assumed they were alone in their world until one day, as they were fighting off more robots, Namjoon tripped on his own foot and fell forward immediately pulling Florencia down with him. He crashed into her and landed on top of her face-first, sending the both of them into a fit of laughter as they lay on the ground trying to catch their breath.

They stayed there for hours playing around until finally Namjoon got serious and said "Florencia...I..." He looked at her with those sparkling eyes, but couldn't continue to speak his heart out to her because at that moment a loud explosion shook the ground beneath them and debris began falling from above them threatening to kill them both instantly.

"Namjoon! We have to go!" Florencia shouted as she pulled up Namjoon by his shirt and ran off towards whatever direction they had came from earlier through the collapsing corridor with rocks falling all around them as they ran past the burning fireballs raining down upon them from above causing more explosions behind them as the crumbling corridor gave way under their feet but just before it fell completely Florencia managed to pull herself and Namjoon out of it just in time before it collapsed behind them leaving nothing but blackness behind them as they continued running further away from the collapsing corridor till finally they stopped running when they reached a dead end without any sign of another hallway around them except for some weird glowing light coming from a small stone door in front of them on the wall which opened automatically revealing itself to be an elevator which brought both Florencia and Namjoon inside where it closed itself automatically and began moving downwards towards its destination taking both Florencia and Namjoon further away from what remained of Hellfire Pass until eventually arriving at their destination which turned out to be a large underground room with lots of electronic equipment including multiple surveillance screens showing various scenes from different parts of their planet while others showed various scenes inside this room itself revealing themselves to be different people sitting within this room watching everything happening throughout their planet. From what Florencia could tell none of these people seemed too happy about what they were seeing on those screens so she took it upon herself to ask who these people were: "Who are you? What do you want?"

"We want nothing." Said one man with a pale complexion who looked like he hadn't slept in days "we're just here to watch."
