Armed with little more than a few gathered pieces of evidence and an additional clue far too vague to be of assistance, the two were given little more than a few words of encouragement.

"This is dangerous work," their assignment-giver had noted with a steeled tone. Within these dense arid dunes, many a broken dream and hopeful ambition lay dormant, deceptively rusted by the passing of time. Reaffirmation and decision of Rebecca and Jamilla's destiny was up to them now.

John was just like any other young man from a big city, his only wish being to make a better life for himself and his family. He didn't mean any harm, the old man added. He was just passing through and offering a unique opportunity to make a real difference in somebody's life. Desperate, John accepted the offer.

Once the hour was over, John found several hundred-dollar bills discreetly tucked away in his pocket. Somehow they felt incredibly heavy in his hands and he wondered if he had made the right choice. 

Little did he know, his decision would have far-reaching implications for himself and the people around him. In the coming days, strange and mysterious occurrences began popping up all around John-from angry car horns blaring on the street to unexpected run-ins with old friends.

What started out as an unconventional proposition, would ultimately lead John to a bittersweet conclusion- the truth of why the man made the offer in the first place, and the subtle power of choices and consequences. Finally making it to the ultimate point of crisis, Victor was presented with a choice- a choice between turning away from his agreed bargain and potentially jumping back into poverty,... or to use the riddle provided by the devil, unlock a sinister truth of a future not meant to be seen by men. In this moment Victor chose to believe in destiny and succeeded in solving the devil's enigma and winning back his life.

He soon unraveled the devil's scheme, uncovering a mystery surrounding a disruptive force which threatened to engulf the entire planet. Armed with this probability of anguish and destruction, Victor singlehandedly took it upon himself absorbed the disarray and save the whole world from getting wiped out.

Acting under the guidance of his own conscience, Victor not only managed to foil the wrongdoer's plan but also found a way to restore the balance of peace between his own people and the global population.
