Laughing In The Dragon's Flight

Towards the end of the 15th century it was just another day for Aram, the Egyptian banker. His life as a human was good, he had money and power, but most importantly he had his family. He loved his wife, Wendi, and their two children, Nefertiti and Anubis.
However, these golden years were cut short. One evening Aram arrived home to find his house in shambles and his family nowhere to be seen. Heartbroken and furious, he searched all throughout the town for any sign of them until he found the culprit: A stranger with golden eyes and scales who said his name was Zaza. Zaza explained that they were now part of a game where they could earn more powers by killing other players if they wished to do so, but if they did not want to play then they could spend their days in an eternal slumber. Aram reluctantly accepted this game as a means to find his family, but had now been enchanted into his new shape over a decade ago.
As time passed Zaza eventually showed up again to tell Aram that there was no sign of his family anywhere. He also explained how to fully utilize his new abilities as well as how to level up. But even with his newfound strength he still missed them dearly; The only thing he had left from those days were old pictures in the basement of their house. But Aram was not alone for long; One day Wendi showed up at his door with food for him! They talked about what had happened since she disappeared ten years ago and how she too found herself enchanted by Zaza into becoming a sphinx with wings and tail feathers on her back. She then told him she traveled the world looking for him while exploring her new form while also gaining new abilities along the way like fire breath and flight speeds up to 800mph!
Aram was the happiest man alive! He was overjoyed that she came back even though she looked nothing like before! And with her help Aram began exploring his new body as well while they enjoyed their lives together once again. In between adventuring around Europe they would often visit Egypt where they used to live together at times when they were younger.
