Splendid Tango of Omaru, Sakura and Hoshimachi

Omaru Polka was happy.

He was happy with his life. He had a good job as an associate at IBM, he got to travel the world for work, and to his luck, he met two great girls on his travels.

Sakura Miko and Hoshimachi Suisei were both bright, beautiful, and intelligent. They were sweethearts who always treated him well. Omaru's friends saw the man's luck and often urged him to make a choice between the two women. Omaru, however, did not see a need to choose; they were both his girlfriends after all, so why shouldn't he be happy with them both?

The problem began when Omaru wanted to introduce his girlfriends to his family. Sakura and Hoshimachi agreed to meet Omaru's parents at the same time, but this only confused Omaru further; why would they do that? They didn't have to. They could meet separately if they wanted to! This was only confusing Omaru more and more as the days went by.

Finally, one day when Omaru returned from work, he walked into a scene that would change his life forever.

Omaru entered through the door of his apartment and called out for Hoshimachi or Sakura before closing the door behind him. When he heard no response immediately after calling their names, Omaru started walking towards the living room where he usually found Sakura watching TV or reading a book while Hoshimachi was practicing her flute on the balcony outside.

"Hoshimachi? Sakura?" Omaru called out again as he walked down the hallway towards the living room. "I'm home!"

When Omaru entered the living room, he stopped dead in his tracks when he saw what awaited him there; the two girls had been sitting on opposite ends of a couch in silence when they spotted each other across the room. Both girls stared back at each other while Omaru stood frozen behind them in shock as they sat in silence across from each other on opposite ends of a couch.

"What are you doing here?" asked Sakura finally as her eyes narrowed at Hoshimachi across from her on the couch.

"I'm seeing if you're still here," replied Hoshimachi with equal venom in her voice as she glared back at Sakura across from her on the couch beside her. "Your boyfriend told me about your little game."

"Oh really?" said Sakura as she stood up from her seat on the couch and walked towards Hoshimachi until she was standing face to face with her directly in front of her on the couch across from her before continuing with equal venom in her voice as she looked down at Hoshimachi glaring up at her from below, "Well I think it's about time you found out that my boyfriend doesn't know how to pick between us!"

"What is wrong with you?!" yelled Hoshimachi suddenly when Sasuke appeared bored behind them staring straight ahead silently still without moving a muscle despite everything else around him...
