When Martina woke up two hours later, Yaya handed her a cup of hot tea which tasted sweet and fragrant when Martina took a sip from it. For some reason, there were tears running down Martina's cheeks as they met Yaya's gaze while sipping their tea. The two sat in their living room, the darkness outside contrasting with the brightly lit Omiya 3 city square visible through their east-facing window. People bustled about the lively square, enjoying the performances of jugglers and entertainers who skillfully maneuvered fire torches to the delight of the audience near the central fountain.

Meanwhile, in the cozy apartment, Martina continued looking at Yaya as tears rolled down her cheeks. It was then that Yaya revealed something surprising: "I'm pregnant."

"You're what?" asked Martina, stunned by what Yaya said despite feeling like she shouldn't have been surprised given Yaya and Tony rarely spent time alone together anymore since Tony started working longer hours recently. This was due to Tony's increased involvement in secret business dealings with his friend Mr. Koyama and Mr. Nakamoto at Nova 2.
