"It seems like you're running away from it."

"You've got to be kidding me. I am not afraid of this place." Ao Ping was staring at the moon, standing in a position that Zhong Lei thought was unnatural. His chin was tilted slightly up and his eyes were fixed upon the white orb above them. The young man then began to walk forward and stared at the empty ground ahead. "I just think that this is a waste of time."

The small frame of Zhong Lei jogged after Ao Ping. He caught up with his friend and looked around as well. They came to a stop when they reached a large pool of water. The surface was crystal clear and the light reflecting off it created an illuminating atmosphere. Ao Ping shifted his gaze away from the water and walked towards a nearby wall, which seemed to go on forever.

"We have been walking for hours and there's nothing here, so why are we even wasting our time here?" Ao Ping barked out his question while tapping his foot on the hard surface beneath him. He turned around and looked up at the moon again, his face full of frustration. Zhong Lei shrugged his shoulders, implying that he also had no answer to that question.

Ao Ping let out another frustrated sigh before he continued fuming about how pointless this all was. As he ranted about the situation, he kicked the wall near him and muttered curses under his breath. After a few more seconds of ranting, Ao Ping decided to give up on expressing how pissed off he was and turned around to face Zhong Lei. "What do you want to do now?" He asked impatiently while folding both of his arms across his chest. "Wait for this stupid thing?" He pointed at the moon once more as he spoke.

Zhong Lei remained quiet while shifting his gaze away from Ao Ping's harsh stare. He did not know what to say since he too did not have any clue as to what they were supposed to do next or where they were supposed to go anyway. They have been walking around aimlessly for quite some time now and no one knew where they were going or their destination in general. Everything seemed so chaotic right now and neither of them knew what to make of it all anymore.

"Well? Is there anything else that we should do?" Ao Ping's voice boomed within the vast corridor below them, echoing throughout the surrounding area until it finally died down after a few seconds passed by without any response from Zhong Lei or anyone else for that matter. "There's nothing here! We've been walking for hours but there's still nothing here!" Ao Ping shouted once more before kicking another wall with frustration, causing him to fall down onto one knee due to how much force he put behind it. The young man cursed under his breath and rubbed his palm against his forehead, trying his best not to succumb into another fit of rage while waiting for Zhong Lei's reply who simply stood there quietly with a puzzled look on his face as usual, unsure of what else they could do right now other than waiting for something else unexpected to happen again like it did before when they first arrived at this place earlier today...
