"You know, it's been five years since the Omniverse incident, and Ben is still locked up in the Null Void," Kevin said as he drove the Rustbucket down a barren road.

Gwen sat in the passenger seat, her eyes fixed on her phone. "Yeah, I know. But it's for his own safety. He doesn't remember why he's in there, and we can't risk him getting out and causing more chaos."

Kevin sighed. "I get that. It's just... I miss him, you know? We used to be a team."

Gwen put her phone away and turned to look at Kevin. "We still are a team, Kevin. Just because Ben is locked up doesn't mean we're not friends anymore."

Kevin nodded. "Yeah, I know. It's just hard, you know? Seeing him like that."

They drove in silence for a few minutes before reaching the entrance to the Null Void prison.

"Alright, here we are," Kevin said as he parked the Rustbucket.

Gwen looked at Kevin with concern. "Are you sure you're ready for this? Seeing Ben like this could bring back some bad memories for you."

Kevin clenched his fists and took a deep breath. "I'm fine. Let's just get this over with."

They walked through the entrance of the prison and were greeted by a guard.

"State your business," the guard said.

Gwen stepped forward and showed her Plumbers badge. "We're here to see Benjamin Tennyson."

The guard looked at them skeptically before nodding and leading them down a long hallway.

"He's in here," the guard said as he stopped in front of a cell.

Kevin looked through the small window on the door and saw Ben sitting on his bed, staring blankly at the wall.

"Ben..." Kevin whispered.

Gwen put a hand on Kevin's shoulder. "Remember, he doesn't remember you. He doesn't remember anything."

Kevin nodded and took a deep breath before the guard unlocked the cell door.

"Visitor for Tennyson," the guard said as he stepped aside to let Kevin and Gwen in.

Ben looked up when he heard the door open and saw Kevin and Gwen standing in front of him.

"Gwen? Kevin? What are you guys doing here?" Ben asked, confusion evident in his voice.

Gwen sighed and sat down on the bed next to Ben. "We're here to explain why you're locked up, Ben. Do you remember what happened five years ago?"

Ben shook his head. "No, I don't remember anything from before I woke up in here."

Gwen took a deep breath and began to explain. "After the Omniverse incident, you were captured by Vilgax. He used an alien device to erase your memories and then turned you over to the Plumbers."

Ben's eyes widened in shock. "Vilgax did this to me? But why?"

"We're not sure," Gwen replied. "But we think he did it so that you wouldn't be able to stop him from taking over the universe."

Ben sighed and ran a hand through his hair. "So, I've been locked up in here for five years because of something Vilgax did? That's just great."

Kevin put a hand on Ben's shoulder. "I know it sucks, but we had no choice, Ben. We couldn't risk you getting out and causing more chaos."

Ben nodded reluctantly. "Yeah, I guess you're right. Thanks for telling me the truth, guys."

Gwen smiled sadly at Ben. "Of course, Ben. You may not remember us or what happened, but we're still your friends."

"Yeah," Kevin added with a smirk. "And we'll always be here for you, even if you are stuck in the Null Void."

Ben smiled and nodded. "Thanks, guys. That means a lot to me."

As they sat in silence, a loud alarm suddenly blared throughout the prison.

"What's going on?" Ben asked, his eyes wide with fear.

The guard rushed over to the cell and unlocked the door. "There's been a breach! We need to get you three out of here!"

Kevin helped Ben to his feet as Gwen grabbed her Plumbers badge from the guard. "Lead the way!"

The group ran down the hallway, following the guard as he led them towards an exit.

"We're almost there!" the guard shouted over the sound of alarms blaring.

But before they could reach the exit, a figure suddenly appeared in front of them.

"Well, well, well... what do we have here?" Vilgax sneered as he stepped into the light.

"Vilgax!" Ben growled. "What are you doing here?"

Vilgax chuckled darkly. "Oh, just making sure my plan is still on track. And it seems like it is."

Gwen glared at Vilgax. "What plan? What are you talking about?"

Vilgax smirked at Gwen. "You'll find out soon enough."

Before anyone could react, Vilgax raised his hand and fired a blast of energy at the group.

Kevin quickly stepped in front of Ben and absorbed the blast with his powers.

"Run!" Kevin shouted as he collapsed to his knees.

Gwen grabbed Ben's arm and pulled him towards the exit. "Come on! We have to get out of here!"

But just as they reached the exit, another figure appeared in front of them.

"It looks like you could use some help," a familiar voice said.

Gwen's eyes widened in shock as she looked at the person standing in front of her.

"Ben... is that you?" Gwen asked, her voice filled with hope.

The person nodded and smiled. "Yeah, it's me. And I'm here to save the day."
