Karah and the Ratchet & Clank: The Journey Through Time and Space.

The Ratchet and Clank hit the ground with a great thud, crushing the grass beneath it. Karah jumped out from the cockpit and rushed over to Blip. She tugged at his body, trying to pull him from the wreckage.

"Blip! Blip!" She yelled, her voice shrill.

Blip's head lolled around and he opened an eye to look at Karah. "Ahhhh, hello there." He said calmly. "Are we in India yet?"

Karah let out a sigh of relief as she saw that Blip was alright. She shook her head vigorously and stroked his metal head. "No Blip, I'm so sorry, but we're back in America again."

"Oh no, what a bummer." Blip said but then clapped his hands together excitedly. "But you know what? We're going to go get some pizza!"

Karah laughed and pushed Blip off her lap. "No silly, we're in California, remember?" She got up and dusted herself off as she looked at the wreckage of the machine around them. It had been such a long journey, traversing time and space in search of the Rift. They had finally found it after days of searching but their machine had continued to malfunction on them and they had ended up crashing into a field somewhere in California. Exhausted from all the travelling and not having slept for more than two days straight, Karah collapsed on the ground and fell asleep almost immediately.

When Karah woke up again it was dark outside. She sat up slowly and rubbed her eyes sleepily before looking around for Blip who was nowhere to be seen.

"Blip?" She called out softly but there was no answer except for an owl hooting in the distance. The sun would rise soon so she decided to lay down again until she felt someone shaking her shoulders gently. She opened her eyes blearily and saw that she was being helped by a young boy who couldn't have been even older than she was herself. His hair was dusty blonde at the tips and he had deep blue eyes which were staring right at her face with curiosity written all over his face. He wore an oversized jacket which made him look even more like a little kid but he seemed like he knew what he was doing as he helped put Karah back on her feet after helping her stand up as well.

"Are you ok? What happened?" The boy asked roughly, dropping his hands from Karah's shoulder when she responded positively with a nod of her own head.

The boy looked around at all the wreckage that surrounded them before turning back towards Karah curiously with an eyebrow raised high on his forehead.

"What is this thing?" He pointed at one of the machines that lay broken in pieces on the ground next to him. Karah sighed deeply before answering him with a tired voice.

"It's my invention." She said as she walked over to it and picked it up carefully before tossing it away into another pile of junk lying nearby. The boy stood rooted to his spot in shock as he watched this strange girl throw away things that were worth thousands of dollars by just tossing them away casually like they were nothing more than toys meant for kids. He stared at her dumbfoundedly for several minutes before finally snapping out of his stupor and speaking up loudly to get her attention back onto him instead of whatever else she wanted to throw away next."You know how to fix this stuff?" He asked curiously as he gestured at all of the machines lying around them before shrugging carelessly when Karah nodded excitedly at him with shining eyes."I don't know if I can fix everything-this is really advanced stuff-but I can try."She answered quickly with enthusiasm written all over her face as well now that she'd found someone who could help her fix this stuff.*
