The wind picked up above them as they walked onward through the dark waters toward their destination. It slammed into their backs causing Crystal to stumble forward into Fredo's back, prompting him to pause for a moment and trip over his own feet as he tried to regain his balance. Consequently, he fell forward onto Aria, who was forced to fall onto her knees, catching herself with her arms before landing face-first in the mud beneath her feet. The water splashed everywhere as they fell down onto one another, creating a cacophony of noise amidst the otherwise quiet water column around them.

Everyone froze except for Crystal, who quickly looked around, anticipating enemies or some worse thing lurking beneath them ready to attack just when they had no way out other than swimming back in fear and panic towards land. But nothing happened, and after several seconds of silence, she turned back towards Aria and Fredo, who were struggling to get back up from their wet and uncomfortable positions in the mud.

"Everything okay?" she asked, trying not to laugh at how silly this situation appeared. She recognized that it must have been incredibly embarrassing for these two selfless individuals, but now they looked like ordinary people having an accident while walking. The scene screamed awkwardness, so what was she supposed to say?

"Everything okay?" she asked again, hoping for a straightforward answer instead of an awkward one. Laughter seemed unlikely unless she wanted to make things worse, but perhaps if she pretended nothing was wrong, the situation wouldn't seem as bad. She could only hope!

Crystal shook her head, trying hard not to laugh. She knew that if she laughed now, Aria would probably say something about how rude it was to make light of someone else's misfortune. Even though Crystal didn't mean any offense, sometimes laughter just comes naturally, even during moments when others might feel embarrassed. Ultimately, caring for one another and taking responsibility for our actions are essential human qualities that help us become better individuals.
