Burning Desires: Diogo, Megan and Blanca

Diogo had been driving taxis for years and had seen many a strange thing and every faces imaginable within his cab. As he stepped out of this daydream and opened his cab to behold what today's passengers would bring, his heart nearly leapt out of his chest. Standing before him were two figures, silhouettes in the neon-licked morning light, each so beautiful they weren't of this Earth. The first woman, Megan Fox, was a renowned astronomic, Earthling theory-star. Rumors of her beauty were whisper soft but were, in fact, understating her excelsior symmetry and glamour. Her eyes carried thunderstorms and sunshine in regions deep, alien to Diogo’s own, and certainly far from home.

The second woman, Blanca Soler, attracted Diogo’s attention more acutely due to his surprise in seeing such an earthly angel, yet distant from his world. Her lips spoke perfect spheres of mystery—ones able to touch any heart regardless of origin. But Diogo was slow to decelerate his heartbeat after this awe-inspiring sight. There was more to diogo’s situation than met seems.

The two women revealed their infatuation with each other with a certain aura of knowledge and understanding, the kind that transcends language and comes from solely understanding each other—to the exclusion of everything else in this world, or any other.

Diogo knew then he must quietly exit before his beating heart riped the mood of which was created within his speeding cab, this frail capsule in which heaven had decided to display its secrets to Diogo. Watching his two euphorically seduced fares enter a rustling embrace of pleasure that sought the dopamine that binds hearts, Diogo retreated to gain a significant reserve on staring contentedly at them. His subconscious implored him to move aside and take the visage of the beautiful display they had arranged especially for those who only dream.

As the sun passed from horizon to noon, cues worth of delightsome getaways ensued and the two women rarely emerged from their passionate debauchery. Diogo would sit for a time and almost sense their titillated minds toying with a slow, tender, but paced partnership as if life itself was composed of story-soaked symptoms of love.

It was only when Diogo noticed that the sun was setting and dusk fading nearer to night that he had to screech his brakes awake. Outside, a myriad of chaos had broken free as reports spread far of a power source. Finders were set like hounds from the nearby bay, racing destructively towards Diogo to seek any figure of new arrivals looking for passage in shadows.

This is the point at which Diogo finds the determination to well away from his seat, places a palm upon Megan Fox’s shoulder, and offers to pay for the cab ride in a desperate way. His pleading sets off a wave of panic within Blanca, as she pulls a sharp object from beneath her dress and brackets herself from the remaining searchers, Megan Fox in her arms as living treasure to protect.

Diogo is left with the bang of something in his chest and barely a second to run away and take cover before the hot wave of fire that flew what blunderers are left echoing across the horizon. He would never see them again, but in memory, these intense moments still remain, a wave of Sobered bliss that rose in an action-packed audiovisual on a dusk-laden night.

Soon, the berserkers who had started this whole furor left in broken dreams, and Diogo was left alone, cold and alone in a catatonic daze. The night sky flared in a soft hue of orange sky and space felt tight, but happier. Here, Diogo felt part of a vast mystery he never knew, of real-life exotic couple’s passionate reverie and of love against the odds. Everyone was lost, but at peace nonetheless.
