“Lara, I really can’t do this. I know you’re worried about what happened to your dad and the guys from the agency, but we don’t have any proof that it was anything more than an accident.”

I looked at Deron with a very serious look on my face and replied, “Deron, mom was murdered. My mother stood in front of a bullet meant for me. You don’t just accidentally get shot in the head at point blank range while saving someone like that. The only way something like that could happen is if they wanted her dead. And I’m sure they did. That’s why we need to go after them. If it were just me then I wouldn’t care but now there is no one to watch over you. They are after you too now.”

Deron didn’t say anything right away and looked down at his feet as though he were thinking hard about something. He started pacing back and forth in front of me as I sat comfortably on our hotel room bed looking him directly in the eyes waiting for him to answer my question. After a few moments he stopped pacing and turned to face me with a smile on his face and said, “Ok let’s do it! Let’s go find these guys and kick their asses! I mean hell Lara, you kicked the ass of like five men in the movie when you were unarmed and couldn't even run that fast because of your shoes! We can do this! We can find them, beat them up real bad, tie them up in some duct tape or something and give them to the FBI! It will be so easy! Just like taking candy from a baby... or handcuffs from a bear... whatever! It will be easy! Let's do it!”

I slowly began to smile as well as I heard him say those words and said, “You got it partner! It will be just like old times won't it? Just like in Egypt when we went after Shelley? Yup! Just like in Egypt when we went after those guys who killed our parents! They messed with the wrong people that time too... remember? They thought my mother was weak because she was small but they didn't count on us fighting together as a team against them did they? Did they? They did not want to mess with us back then either... didn't they? I bet they'll regret messing with us again won't they? Besides... how hard can it be? We are super smart aren't we? Super strong too right? Plus we have all of our gadgets still don't we?"

Deron laughed out loud and responded, "Oh yeah Lara, we are definitely super smart and super strong too! In fact... let's go check out some of our stuff right now!"

As he finished saying that he ran over to our luggage on the floor by the door and began rummaging through it until he found his backpack which contained all of our gadgets we had collected over time since being stuck together on our many adventures around the world. He pulled out a USB cable which he plugged into my laptop sitting nearby on another chair next to the bed before plugging his phone into his USB port on my computer as well which opened up a file transfer between the two devices allowing us to share all of his files between both computers.

I watched him for a few moments trying to figure out what he was doing before getting up off of the bed myself and walking over to where he was standing by my luggage looking through various files contained within my own backpack before asking him what he was doing. He continued to search through various documents until finally finding one labeled 'Project Trinity' which contained all kinds of information regarding our adventures over time including all kinds of research notes concerning Trinity's supposed involvement in various world events over time including all kinds of personal information regarding each member of their group including photos taken during their individual field missions around the world before handing it to me so that I could read through it all carefully while he continued searching through my backpack for more information relevant to our mission today.

After spending a few minutes carefully reading through everything contained within 'Project Trinity' I handed Deron what appeared to be one of my mother's old journals containing her research notes pertaining to her discoveries concerning Trinity's activities around the globe since she began following their lead about ten years ago by reading numerous reports sent back from her fellow agents stationed within various countries around the world before asking him if he had found anything interesting so far about what we could expect when we arrived in Europe today. He took his eyes off of his computer screen for only a moment before replying, "Well looks like Mom knew quite a bit about these guys Lara because there is definitely something going on here that she would have wanted us to see first hand."

As we sat in the hotel room, absorbing the gravity of the information before us, a sense of determination washed over us. The weight of our mission, the legacy left behind by our parents, and the fight for justice fueled our resolve. We knew that we couldn't waste any more time. Europe was calling, and we had to answer.

Deron closed down the file transfer on the laptop and looked at me, his eyes gleaming with determination. "Lara, we need to regroup and make a plan. We can't just storm in blindly, guns blazing. We need to be smart about this. Trinity is a dangerous organization, and we need to outsmart them."

I nodded, realizing that Deron was right. As much as I wanted to run headfirst into the fight, channeling the spirit of my mother's fearlessness, I had to remember that our enemy would be cunning, formidable. We couldn't afford to underestimate them. "You're right, Deron. We need to gather as much intel as we can before making any moves. Let's start by reaching out to our contacts and see what they know about Trinity's operations in Europe."

Deron pulled out his phone and began scrolling through his contacts, searching for the right person to contact. I dug out my phone as well, my fingers trembling with anticipation. We needed someone we could trust, someone who had the inside scoop. And then it hit me. "Deron, what about Agent Mitchell? He was a close associate of our parents and has been tracking Trinity for years. He might have valuable information."

Deron's face lit up as he remembered Agent Mitchell. "You're right, Lara. He's the guy who helped us escape Egypt that time. I'll give him a call and see if he can meet us in Europe. If anyone knows about Trinity's activities, it's him."

While Deron made the call, I started packing our bags. We needed to be ready to leave at a moment's notice. As I folded my clothes, my mind raced through all the possibilities, trying to anticipate the challenges that awaited us. I couldn't help but feel a mix of fear and excitement. The thought of taking down Trinity, avenging my mother's death, was a powerful force that propelled me forward.

Deron ended the call and turned to face me, a determined look on his face. "Agent Mitchell is willing to meet us in Paris. He has some valuable information that he wants to share face-to-face. He said he will reach out to his contacts there and arrange a secure meeting. We leave first thing in the morning."

Paris. The City of Lights. But for us, it held a different allure—a dark underbelly that we were about to uncover. As we boarded the plane, our hearts raced with anticipation. Every second that passed brought us closer to the truth, but also closer to danger.

Arriving in Paris, we were greeted with a crisp breeze and the tantalizing aroma of freshly baked croissants. It was a stark contrast to the mission that lay before us. We took a taxi to our hotel, knowing that we couldn't waste any time settling in. Agent Mitchell had arranged to meet us at a hidden location in the heart of the city.

As we walked through the cobblestone streets, a sense of foreboding settled upon us. Shadows danced in the flickering streetlights, whispering secrets we were determined to uncover. We arrived at a small café, its quaint exterior masking the covert operations that took place within.

We stepped inside and were immediately enveloped in the warm aroma of coffee and hushed conversations. Agent Mitchell was waiting for us in a secluded corner. His face bore the marks of countless battles, but his eyes sparkled with a fierce determination that mirrored our own.

"Kids, you've grown up so fast," he exclaimed, embracing us both. "Your parents would be proud of the warriors you've become."

We exchanged a solemn nod before taking our seats. Agent Mitchell leaned forward, his voice barely above a whisper. "Trinity has their hands in everything. Terrorism, political manipulation, black market dealings. They are a nexus of power and corruption. But their ultimate goal remains unknown."

My heart pounded as he spoke. The enormity of the task at hand consumed me, but I refused to succumb to fear. I had to dig deeper, unveil the secrets that Trinity held, and bring justice to my mother's memory.

Agent Mitchell reached into his briefcase and pulled out a stack of documents. "These are classified files that will shed light on Trinity's operations in Europe. They are risky to possess, but I trust you both to use them wisely."

We studied the documents, our minds spinning with new possibilities. The threat was bigger than we could have ever imagined, but we were willing to face it head-on. As we delved deeper into the files, a plan began to form in our minds. We would infiltrate Trinity, gathering evidence to expose their true intentions and bring them down once and for all.

The odds were stacked against us, but we had come too far to turn back now. With each passing day, with each secret unraveled, we edged closer to the heart of darkness. Trinity had underestimated us once, but they wouldn't make that mistake again.

And so, we embarked on a treacherous journey, determined to forge our own path, to dismantle the very organization that had taken our parents away from us. In the battle that awaited, we would discover not only the truth, but also the strength that lay within ourselves.
