Kaiden Severius: The Dance of Justice

The story centers around Kaiden Severius, a powerful telekinetic vigilante and reformed criminal who is fighting crime in a near future American megalopolis. After years of struggling to keep up with the various goings-on in his city and frequently finding himself in the crossfire of dangerous threats, Kaiden has finally estranged himself enough from his street life to be welcomed into the family of his eight-year-old daughter. Living a double life, he tries to teach her valuable lessons regarding justice and righting the wrongs left in the wake of those too powerful for any modern version of justice.

The story begins with Kaiden patrolling the streets at night on a seemingly normal night - although he keenly notices the menacing aura that clings to the night-time atmosphere in the city. He is able to sense the spiritual unrest in the city leading him to his first major battle in his mission to protect the innocent. Meanwhile, two of Kaiden's old allies from his criminal past, Tony and Dave, show up at his door hoping for a bit of help with a shady job that promises good money. Disgusted at their intentions and the idea that they would risk corrupting his precious daughter, Kaiden sends them away without any mercy.

As the mystery surrounding his most recent crime-fighting duties deepens, Kaiden discovers a new member of the gang he's been battling against - an eight-year-old girl named Sally who shares an eerie connect with his daughter. After piecing together her story and learning about her sinister power set, Kaiden makes a grim bargain with the girl in exchange for his daughter's safety. As he sets foot in a seedy underground gambling den as part of-- a mission to infiltrate the gang and investigate their activities, Kaiden begins to understand just how powerful Sally is and how lethal she can become in the wrong hands.

Kaiden's mission takes a sudden twist as the gang leader reveals himself to be Tony, the old friend Kaiden thought he had finally put behind him. While trying to talk some sense into the desperate criminal, Kaiden's cover is blown and a brutal fight ensues between Tony, Kaiden and the gang. Through a furious battle, Kaiden and Sally are both pushed to the brink of death as they fight to save their own lives and the innocent people around them. Kaiden's bravery and sheer willpower eventually prevail, only to discover that Sally has now developed her own telekinetic abilities - likely a byproduct of his own.

In the city's climax, Kaiden and Sally team up to take on the overwhelming might of an unconscious Tony and the entire gang combined. Kaiden's telekinetic powers, aided and amplified by Sally's younger yet equally magical gifts, decimate the gang and leave the authorities shocked by the new hero of the city. As Kaiden's mission reaches its victorious conclusion, there is only one thing left for him to do; continue his journey to justice in order to protect the innocent and help Sally continue to hone the mighty power within her. Through the embrace of family and friendship, the duo traverse the town with their growing abilities, utilizing them to both prevent and solve the coming problems of the sprawling megalopolis.
