The Invisible Woman and the Battleroom

"No, she's not here."

"What?"

"She's not here. She left me a couple months ago. I haven't seen her since."

Battleroom's face went red with rage. His eyes bulged out of his head, and veins popped out of his neck. His fists clenched into balls.

"You fucking liar! I saw her in town the other day! You just lied to me!"

Susan's face turned pale as she realized what this meant for her daughter. She turned around to look at Rebecca, who sat in a chair behind her with her arms crossed. Susan stood up and turned around to face Battleroom.

"I haven't seen Rebecca in two years!"

"Liar!"

Battleroom lunged towards Susan, but was stopped by Mr. Fantastic, who had made himself invisible and held Battleroom back near the wall by the collar of his shirt. He couldn't see Mr. Fantastic, but felt the invisible force holding him back. The Invisible Woman stood up from her seat and walked over to Susan and Mr. Fantastic.

"It's true! Susan hasn't seen Rebecca in two years! She moved to New York City shortly after you died," said the Invisible Woman coolly as she waved her arm towards the place where Battleroom had died forty years ago during an underwater battle with Namor, "and has never been back since."
