"Hey, Roban, you got that light?" the dark hooded figure asked.

"Yeah, I got it," he replied. He was carrying a large plastic bag that contained all of their belongings including the clothes and food they had bought from the Bazaar.

The hooded figure walked past him towards the door of their room in the Inn.

A minute later she returned and said, "let's go." She opened the door and walked out into the hallway.

They walked to the end of the hallway and down the stairs to where their car was parked outside. Once there she unlocked the car and opened the back door for Roban.

"Well, here we are," Shara said as she slid into the driver's seat, "ready to see our new home?"

Roban looked at her through his thick glasses with a blank expression on his face and then nodded his head slowly. He reached over to a small lever on his side of the seat and pushed it up allowing him to slide across to sit next to her in the passenger seat.

She turned on the car engine and they drove off towards their new home that lay far away south in another solar system. They had left behind their lives as two English spies posing as 15th century nobles in an alternative re-creation of England called 'Ye Olde England' where they had spent three years trying to find a mysterious object called 'The Machine'. The 'machine' was supposedly written by one of history's greatest minds, Archimedes, but which was lost during the invasion of Rome by Alaric, King of the Visigoths. The machine was supposed to be able to end all wars by producing weapons that would render all other weapons obsolete. The paper describing these machines had been found buried under an altar of Apollo at Delphi by Napoleon Bonaparte in 1799 but no one knew exactly what was described on them or how they worked. They were searching for these writings when they were contacted by superiors who told them to return immediately to Earth since they had discovered something important relating to their investigation. They were now on their way back home after leaving Ye Olde England half way during Napoleon's siege of Alexandria in Egypt during his campaign against Muhammed Ali Pasha in 1801 AD (After Delphine).

"So how long do you think it'll take us to get back?" Roban asked as he stared out of window at their surroundings as they drove along Highway 95 heading south towards Las Vegas.

"I don't know," Shara replied "it depends how fast we can get there." She glanced at him then looked back at the road ahead as she sped along close to 300mph (480km/h) just below their maximum speed limit of 300mph (480km/h). Their Tesla XS could drive much faster than this but if they did so then it would draw too much attention from law enforcement agencies around here who might try and arrest them thinking they could be criminals driving like that without any regard for traffic laws or speed limits. Driving at this lower speed allowed them to blend with regular traffic and have less frequent stops, even though Roban still enjoyed stopping every hour or so to stretch his legs and relieve himself outdoors.

As soon as they arrived on Earth, Roban took their suitcase from the trunk and headed off into the trees to change while Shara transferred their groceries from the plastic bags to her backpack. She was grateful for her super strength which made carrying heavy loads easy and allowed her to move around unencumbered. For this reason, she preferred not to wear shoes or heels that could cause her to trip and accidentally harm someone due to her immense strength. In the past, an unfortunate accident occurred resulting in the death of a man when Shara toppled over onto him, crushing him under her weight.

To prevent any unintentional harm, Shara now wore special shoes and clothing for safety. These measures provided additional freedom, allowing her to explore and travel without worry. The new attire helped improve her self-esteem and made her feel confident in her abilities. As she confidently walked at a brisk pace, feeling liberated as she explored the world, she could appreciate the subtle beauty around her with a newfound sense of stability and safety.
