Jyoti was a dominatrix. She took pride in her work, trampling on men in her heavy Indian silver payals, adorned with numerous ghungroo bells. The sound they made as she stamped down would make even the most hardened soul tremble.

Every morning, Jyoti's servant, Lata, would rub the payals gently on her nose to wake her up. Once Jyoti was awake, Lata would kiss her feet and dress her in slippers before serving breakfast. Then at 10 am on the dot, Jyoti would practice her trampling technique on Lata.

Lata would lie flat on the ground as Jyoti confidently strode across her body, first with a foot on the chest and then a second step on the stomach. Lata had become accustomed to this daily ritual of pain and suffering.

After trampling all over poor Lata, Jyoti would sit down and watch TV while soothing her feet with gentle caresses from Lata's loving hands.

One day, a 6-year-old beggar girl named Lipi came to Jyoti's door begging for money. Lata tried to send her away but Jyoti stopped her. The sound of Lipi's bell-like voice intrigued Jyoti and piqued her curiosity.

When Lipi asked for money or food in exchange for fulfilling any wish or command that she could provide, it only stoked Jyoti's interest further.

Jyoti decided to test Lipi's loyalty by placing one foot from each of her cherished silver payals against the girl's dirty palm.

To Jyoti's surprise (and delight), Lipi kissed not only the dirty soles of her feet but also offered to be trampled upon as well.

Jyoti laughed out loud at Lipi’s audacity after letting it slide and accepted both offers graciously. She commanded Lata to take Lipi inside and give her a room to stay.

From that day on, Lipi became a loyal servant to Jyoti, always at her beck and call. Lata was relieved of some of her duties, much to her satisfaction. Though she couldn't help but feel a twinge of jealousy towards the new girl in Jyoti's life.

As the days turned into weeks, Lipi started bonding with Jyoti more closely. She would sleep in Jyoti's bedroom and be there for every trampling session, offering herself up as a stepping stone whenever necessary.

Lipi also had a talent for massaging feet with her small hands and would spend hours attending to Jyoti’s tired feet after each trampling session. This made the dominatrix very happy indeed.

Unfortunately, it seemed that Lipi's stay with Jyoti was not meant to last. One day when Lipi fell ill, they called a doctor who delivered some bad news: Lipi didn’t have much time left.

Lipi had only one wish before she died: she wanted Jyoti to stand over her during her last moments and feel the beat of her heart beneath her feet. She wanted to experience the weight and presence of someone she respected above her body before she passed away.

Jyoti didn't know how to respond at first but agreed silently by placing one foot on Lipi's chest (as per usual) without saying anything.

When it was time for Lipi's final farewell, Jyoti stood over the dying girl as planned. She placed both feet on her chest and felt the pulse slowly fading away beneath them - each beat weaker than the last until finally stopping altogether.

Jyoti stayed frozen in place for a few minutes after feeling no more beats coming from underfoot before finally looking down at Lipi’s peaceful face. Tears welled up in Jyoti's eyes as she realized that Lipi was gone.

Jyoti slowly removed her feet from Lipi's chest, kissed her forehead and whispered a heartfelt goodbye. She then turned to Lata and told her to perform the last rites by kissing Jyoti's feet and then Lipi’s.

Lata did as she was told, but deep down she wondered who would fill the void left by Lipi’s absence. For years, she had been living in hope of escaping her trampling ordeal at the hands of Jyoti. But now, with Lipi gone, it seemed that Lata was destined to remain Jyoti's loyal footstool for all time.
