Space Cadet Kaye and the Inflatable Wetsuit Mission

Six months after landing on Zeta-7-8-9, we found our first one. It was in a clearing near some bushes on a small moon orbiting a gas giant that orbits two suns. One sun was red and one was yellow, so things were colorful even during night time when both were visible above the horizon. We found an odd structure in the center of the clearing that had some markings carved into it that didn't match any language known by humans or any other species we'd encountered before. The scientists on board were intrigued by this new discovery and wanted to thoroughly investigate it before we could move on with our mission. We set up camp next to the structure and began analyzing it while setting up more camps for future investigations across the system once this one got off the ground.

It was only a few hours before we discovered something strange about this planetoid. I walked outside my tent early in the morning and looked up at a clear sky without stars or planets in sight because everything in orbit was too small to be seen at this distance from its star. The suns were visible above me since they were still low in the sky, but they were also covered by haze from gases exhaled by their host planet which would later glow brightly when both suns would be visible at the same time later that afternoon.

I grabbed my binoculars off my tent pole and tried scanning across their surface for anything unusual, but I soon found myself distracted by a weird noise coming from somewhere in camp behind me. I turned around to look for its source and saw one of my crew walking around wearing an inflatable wetsuit with her arms folded across her chest like she was holding something between her arms! She was also wearing some sort of helmet with goggles over her eyes that obscured most of her face except for her mouth which made her look like she was making some kind of sad expression!

She wandered around aimlessly for a few seconds before eventually walking over towards our campfire and grabbed hold of an empty mug sitting next to it! She then began bending forward trying to reach something underneath the fire with her free hand until she realized she couldn't reach whatever it was she was trying to grab! She looked puzzled for a second before taking off her helmet and dumping some water out into her empty mug using what appeared to be some sort of squeeze bottle taped to her arm! This baffled me even more than before because she didn't seem very efficient at accomplishing what she needed done!

She put back on her helmet and continued wandering around camp until she happened to glance up towards our tent where I was observing this strange spectacle unfold! Once our eyes met she immediately ran over toward me wearing an expressionless face while pumping her flippers rapidly back and forth against the ground until she reached where I stood watching her approach with my binoculars stuck in my chest pocket! She stopped short of bumping into me so hard that she fell over backwards onto her backside! Her wetsuit filled with air around her body making it seem as though she actually wore an actual wetsuit! After flopping around on the ground for a few moments unable to right herself due to being inflated like some sort of balloon animal, she finally managed to stand upright again with great difficulty due mostly because most of her mass seemed focused toward staying upright since there wasn't much legroom left inside this thing anymore!

She then removed her helmet while folding down an air valve sticking out from its top revealing another air valve sticking out from its bottom which she then closed tightly pushing down on both sides until it clicked shut! With both valves now closed tightly against each other on opposite sides of this thing now resembling half of a puffer fish, she began pumping rapidly again until eventually deflating making it easy for her remove herself from within this thing now lying flat on the ground beside our tent like an empty wetsuit laying there limp as though someone had just taken their clothes off and left them lying there lifeless behind me!

"What is GOING ON?!" I shouted angrily as this woman rubbed herself down inside this inflatable outfit wiping away sweat caused by not fitting comfortably inside such a tight suit anymore while taking deep breaths through its air valve while catching her breath after having pumped herself up into such a state only moments earlier! "This outfit's supposed to help us stay cool!" She responded between breaths while rubbing away at various places inside this suit where heat seemed concentrated most heavily causing sweat to accumulate there most heavily "but apparently having two air valves is too much work" while slowly standing back up onto two feet underneath that heavy suit still lying flat against our dirt-covered ground!

"So instead OF JUST USING ONE VALVE like a normal person who doesn't want TO FIT INTO THIS THING LIKE A STUFFED ANIMAL INSIDE A TEDDY BEAR!" I yelled over top of her while pointing accusingly at said outfit still lying flat against our dirt-covered ground "you decided instead TO PUMP YOURSELF UP
