Kolbarg's Forbidden Quest

Kolbarg, a young goblin in a remote village of the Far East, had always dreamt of leaving his dull, mundane existence, but was petrified of leaving the lands of his birth. The world outside of his village seemed almost magical and he could feel himself reaching towards this unknown force he couldn't explain. Though his days were filled with mundane chores and labour, he managed to find solace in hunting, often escaping late into the night to feel the heart-pounding excitement of the chase.

One night while hunting with his friend Rautvig, Kolbarg suddenly found himself enveloped by an unknown, overwhelming power that left him gasping for breath. As the power intensified, taking hold of his body and soul, he could feel that strange, unknown force coursing through him again, but this time it was far greater than before. After standing horrified and frozen with shock, he discovered that this power was bound to himself and he had no choice but to accept it.

To make peace with his strange new ability, and find out more about it, he decides to embark upon a journey through the remote, forgotten lands of fantasy, guided by his newfound power. After accosting a starving human merchant, the two become unwilling allies, and the merchant eventually agrees to join Kolbarg on his adventure.

As they journey together, they soon stumble upon a distant elven city. Exploring the city and meeting its inhabitants, Kolbarg meets more people like him who also share a strange and powerful connection to this unknown Electro-Magnetic Field (EMF). As Kolbarg learns to control and take advantage of his EMF capabilities, he also discovers that this power has been responsible for an ancient struggle between powerful trolls and elites.

As they continue their journey, taking them further and further away, they encounter more species part of the EMF Humans, Dwarves, Orcs and Dragons, to name a few. For some of them, this unknown EMF and its power meant more complex emotions and deeper thinking, while for others it meant a glorious power that had to be brought down- and the only way was for a massive conflict between the different forces of EMF. Kolbarg and his companions eventually realise that the hand of destiny is calling them to this chaotic and troubling world, to safeguard a future for everyone and everything.

As they gather magical objects to fight against this unknown destruction, they also come across powerful magical artifacts that could influence their own powers as they recognize and form bonds with like-minded people. Moving around in small momentum and gathering more strength, they become a fellowship, pressing their grip over the evil forces trying to bring destruction. But the fate of the world lies in the balance as their final challenge bears closer and closer- forcing these mightiest of heroes to fight an all-out war, no one knew the costs of winning.

With the climax and a powerful enemy coming for them, Kolbarg's strength, courage, and friendship are put to the test. After facing near-death on more than one occasion, Kolbarg and his friends finally land the blow that shatters the enemy and saves the world from annihilation. Exhausted yet triumphant, hearts weary yet braced for another journey, Kolbarg stands atop a hill and surveys the world he helped to save. He dare to dream of a world of powerful EMFers and a strong and complex connection between the different races of fantasy and the dreams he shared with his new friends.
