Max, The Seagull Chaser

Sara’s dog, Max, had escaped and ran away. Sara lives a couple houses down from Ema and her sister Teresinha. They went to the beach and found Max chasing after seagulls. They took Max back home with them to give him food and water.

"Thank you for taking a look at Max, ladies," said Sara. "I was feeling worried that he might've run off."

"You're welcome," replied Teresinha. She was a kind girl, always looking out for others. She was also nine years old like Ema.

Ema was five years old. She was mostly playing in the sand and not paying attention to the adults around her. Her sister always had to look out for her because she could get into any sort of mischief that she could find. When she wasn't busy getting into trouble, however, she really did take a liking to animals. She liked to play with cats or dogs when she met them at the park or at a friend's house. She loved them all so much that she'd often ask her sister if they could have one as a pet when they grew up. Her sister always said no because they already had plenty of responsibility to take care of their parents' house while they were away on trips or work. Their parents made sure to leave Ema and Teresinha well taken care of while they were away so they didn't have to worry about them while they were gone.

Afterwards, Sara invited Teresinha over to her house for some tea and small talk before asking them if they'd be willing to help her find Max again if he got away again sometime soon in the near future. The girls agreed to help out as long as it wasn't going to be too hard on them or if it would be too much work for them if Sara asked again later on in time. They thanked her for the tea before leaving her house and heading back home themselves afterwards until one day Max got away from Sara again and ran off again without anyone knowing where he had disappeared off to this time.

Max ran off during breakfast time when Ema's father gave him his food bowl filled with his favorite dog food that he liked eating so much along with his water bowl filled with nice cool water from the sink in the kitchen near where their mother was getting ready for work while Ema helped by setting up the table with plates and cups while Teresinha sat down on one of their chairs at the table and watched their mother cook some eggs and bacon in front of the stovetop while their father set everything else up on top of the table including spoons, forks, knives, napkins, plates, cups, napkins and other utensils necessary for breakfast before serving everyone there at the table each their own portion of food on each plate while their mother sat down next to Teresinha and began eating breakfast herself after putting an egg on top of some toast bread with some butter spread on top of it before spreading some ketchup over some slices of tomatoes which she cut herself earlier on in time as well as putting some lettuce leaves around it as well as putting some other condiments such as pepper sauce or mayonnaise or even tartar sauce all around it before eating it herself after cutting it up into several slices using a knife first before sitting down near Teresinha who ate her food cheerfully with small bites at a time while Ema ate hers faster than her sister did because she simply just couldn't wait any longer before biting into hers like a hungry lioness about to catch its prey before finishing up quickly just like she said she would earlier on in time when everyone else was already done eating their breakfast except for Teresinha who still had another piece of toast bread left which she finished up shortly afterwards while everyone else started cleaning up everything else off of the table after finishing their food before heading upstairs towards their bedrooms which Ema's father cleaned out while Ema's mother swept the floor downstairs while Teresinha played quietly by herself until suddenly-

"EM A!" shouted Teresinha urgently as loud as she possibly could at that specific moment in time after seeing something that caught her eye by accidently bumping into Max who had just suddenly appeared inside of their living room without anyone noticing what happened until now whereupon Ema quickly turned around when she heard someone calling for her name urgently as well as walking towards where it sounded exactly like it was coming from before finally reaching where Max was standing there peacefully alongside Teresinha who stared angrily towards him while holding onto his collar gently but firmly enough that he wouldn't escape again anytime soon even though his collar looked soft enough that he easily could've gotten out of if he wanted to do so at any given moment right now but thankfully he didn't try escaping this time around because he must've been scared enough by how angry both girls were against him now without even thinking about anything else except for getting away from them somehow immediately!

That day turned out quite surprising indeed! This is why you never know what can happen whenever you least expect anything good or bad from happening in your life! You never know what might happen until it actually does arrive unexpectedly! It can sometimes be scary but sometimes very happy! You never know what will happen next! You never know how someone might act either! You never know how someone might turn out in the end! You just never know about anything unless you experience things firsthand yourself or unless you witness something yourself firsthand! That's why I say this: Enjoy every second of your life because you'll never get any more seconds after whatever happens has already happened!
