Legends of Dogma: A Queer Quest for Power

The black-haired treasure hunter, who’d just finished a drink, looked at his friends and smiled. “We made it. We actually made it to the fortress.”

The two other men - one blonde, one brunette - glanced at each other, then at the fortress walls. It was huge. Huge beyond anything they had ever seen before in their lives.

“So how do we get in?” the brunette asked over the loud hum of the electric fence surrounding them.

“I think I know,” the blond man said, pointing to the sign on the fence. “It says, ‘No trespassing.’ But if you read carefully, it also says ‘defenders welcome!’” With that he pulled out a can of spray paint and started writing on the fence. The others watched as he wrote N-O-T-E-N-T-R-A-N-S-P-R-Y across the top of the giant metal letters spelling out NO Trespassing. When he finished, he looked up with a grin. “How about that? They left that line out of the sign! Just goes to show you how careless people can be when they make these things!” He reached into his backpack for more spray paint and continued adding letters until he had written NEW TENENT RULES:

1) No Stealing from New Tenants (see rule 2)

3) No Stealing from New Tenants (see rules 1 & 2)

He turned back toward his friends and held up three fingers triumphantly. Then he added another finger and put his hands behind his head as if stretching for a leisurely nap in a field of flowers. “Life is so easy when you follow my lead! You don’t have to worry about anything! Just follow my lead and live forever in paradise!” Then he jumped into a perfect landing right between the words NEW TENANTS and RULES and fell asleep with a smile on his face.
