Luke was a good kid. He didn’t start the fire, he didn’t even touch it. He just looked at it. He wasn’t even really in the house when it started; his mom was yelling at him about something and he was just trying to get away from her. Luke was a good kid because of all the things he didn’t do. He didn’t yell back, or throw anything at her, or run away. It was scary, being in that house by himself. It always felt like someone else was there with him, but nobody ever was. The TV stayed on all night, not playing anything specific—just noise. But sometimes Luke heard her talking to someone, too soft for him to tell who she was talking to. Sometimes she would whisper-shout “why can’t you understand me?” Sometimes she would just mumble, saying things so fast they were unintelligible.

Luke didn’t start the fire; he didn’t set anything on fire in his whole life—except once when he was seven, and even then it wasn’t his fault. Ryan told him about space aliens that needed fuel for their space ship to take them back home and how they needed a human heart for their spaceship and how if you cut open a frog and put its heart on a mirror you could see into another dimension and sometimes aliens would come and take your heart! And Luke wanted to see those aliens because they sounded cool so he cut open a frog and put its heart on a mirror but nothing happened except Ryan said he had to have done it wrong and Luke believed him because Ryan was older than him and knew more stuff so they took the frog outside and buried it under a bush as deep as they could and then they went back inside and watched some TV until bedtime.

The next morning Luke woke up early because he couldn't sleep in his room anymore because of the smell of burnt frog guts from somewhere out in the yard so he went downstairs to get some breakfast because his mom had taken an extra shift at work last night and wasn't home yet but as soon as Luke walked through the door he started coughing so hard he thought he might puke something up so he came back outside to get some fresh air instead but by then there were already people outside standing around staring at the front yard making noises like "oh no" or "huh" or "that's weird" and then one lady with short hair asked what happened here last night because she couldn't remember anything after getting home from work yesterday. And everybody else said they hadn't either but Luke knew what happened because Ryan told him, but Ryan wasn't there anymore because Luke didn't want to see those space aliens again so he lied and said nobody knew what happened here last night but that maybe somebody should call 911 anyway. And after Luke talked to all those people that day but mostly stood around watching them talk about stuff without having any idea what it meant for two hours until the police showed up, one guy with brown hair took him into the kitchen where it smelled really bad now and told him what happened: the house burned down last night after he fell asleep watching TV upstairs because some candles near a couch caught on fire but nobody knew why so nobody saw it happen except for Luke who saw two kids sneaking out of his window carrying flaming torches before running off into the bushes behind his house where they disappeared before anybody could catch them so nobody knew who did it or why—except Luke did know this time because Ryan told him!

But nobody believed Zachary when he said that because Zachary wasn't an adult yet so nobody listened when he told them about how Luke looked at candles while burying a dead frog's heart on a mirror later that day so Zachary called 911 himself after Luke fell asleep watching TV upstairs later that night even though nobody believed Zachary before when he told them about what happened earlier that day before they even showed up there which is why nobody believed Zachary this time either assuming instead that Luke must have been trying to kill himself which made sense given all the noise about suicide going around school recently although nobody except Zachary knew why!

And finally everyone found out what really happened here last night: Luke tried to summon evil space spirits into our world by cutting open living creatures and sacrificing their hearts on mirrors in hopes of seeing them only for them to appear instead in an alternate dimension where they can feed off of our fear!

And crimes like these are often committed by people living with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) which is why we need more awareness of this disorder among law enforcement officials otherwise we will continue seeing dangerous individuals like this one slip through our fingers!
