Godzilla and the Lanzhou villagers: Perfect Timing for a Saving Grace

“He’s here, he’s here!”

The villagers ran to the outside of the town, their eyes filled with tears. They watched as a giant monster, larger than any they had ever seen before, walked towards them. They knew what it was: Godzilla.

The monster was covered in a thick layer of black scales and purple skin; his eyes were red and his head was shaped like a hammer. He walked on two legs and he had two small arms that were shaped like bat wings. The villagers were so scared; they closed their eyes and prayed to God for help. Then suddenly, the ground began to shake violently. The villagers opened their eyes and looked at the giant monster; he had fallen down on his knees in front of them. Then they realized that Godzilla was not attacking them but rather, protecting them from something even more terrifying than himself: a massive, five-legged space creature with a mouth full of sharp teeth, claws as big as trees, gigantic green eyes and an enormous purple horn at the end of its long whip-like tail. A vast trail of blood foamed behind him as he walked on four of his legs while all five of them were covered in blood, flesh and bones as if they were made out of stone or liquid glass. His eyes were blue and his body was covered in white spines which were made out of diamond shards or shards of ice or diamonds that have been melted by the sun. His tongue was the same color as his tail which looked like that it was made out of glass. He was much bigger than Godzilla; Godzilla could hardly believe it himself when he saw that awful beast appear just like that in front of him from out of nowhere. The villagers watched in amazement as Godzilla roared in anger and tried to tackle this new threat, but the space creature batted him away easily with one paw by whipping him with its tail until he crashed into a nearby mountain with a loud explosion. Suddenly, the town started to shake again and everyone ran for cover inside their houses except for three people: Jack, whose daughter Annie went missing a week ago after she went out to buy some food, David who lost his wife Amy two years ago when she went out into a snowstorm while she was pregnant with their son and pregnant Mary who went into labor a week early because she didn’t pay attention to warnings about how dangerous going into labor early can be.

They rushed outside again when they heard Godzilla roar in pain again as he struggled to get back up against the beast while it stood there quietly watching him as if nothing happened at all. “Godzilla!” shouted Jack fearfully as tears rolled down his cheeks before he turned around and ran back inside his house along with David who tried to be brave but couldn’t hold back his tears either anymore as he did the same thing. Pregnant Mary tried to follow suit but unfortunately for her she didn’t make it very far since she collapsed on her backside on her doorstep due to exhaustion from carrying her baby inside her womb too long before she suddenly felt sick to her stomach and threw up everything she ate earlier that day onto the floor next to her feet before she slowly passed out from exhaustion next to all the vomit on the ground around her feet where she lay unconscious. She slowly opened her eyes while groaning in pain after she woke up a few hours later only to find herself lying naked on top of an operating table inside a hospital room surrounded by doctors who were busy preparing themselves for surgery by washing their hands first before they put on rubber gloves so they wouldn’t get infected by whatever illnesses Mary might be carrying since childbirth can make women very sick after giving birth although some women don’t get sick at all which is rare but luckily for Mary she falls under the latter category since pregnancy doesn’t usually make women sick unless they do things that are bad for themselves like eat unhealthy food which is why doctors always warn women against doing so before they go into labor even though most pregnant women don’t listen because being pregnant makes you *happy* so you kind of forget about how many things you shouldn’t do during pregnancy even though doctors tell you otherwise because doctors are just trying to scare you so you won’t do anything that might hurt your child which is understandable I mean what if pregnant women didn’t listen? If they listened then maybe fewer babies would die but hey nobody can be perfect especially when you are pregnant even though you try your best not to get sick because pregnancy makes you forget things sometimes including being careful about what you eat during pregnancy unless you want your baby to die or worse yet: suffer from birth defects or other serious health problems which is why doctors try their best not scare pregnant women too much even though most pregnant women already know what not to do during pregnancy anyway because we have common sense don’t we? But anyway I digress; where was I? Oh yeah anyway after Mary woke up from fainting from exhaustion (which happens sometimes when women go into labor too soon) she immediately felt sick again after remembering everything that happened between when she fainted until now which is why she quickly got off the operating table where she laid naked moments ago along with all the clothes on top of it right next to her clothes before she started throwing up again onto the same spot where she vomited earlier while simultaneously getting dressed while trying not get sick again while also trying not cry in pain because going into labor early is no walk in the park especially if nobody helps you give birth naturally along with all those other little inconveniences after giving birth like having stitches or getting your babies umbilical cord cut off which is why doctors try their best not scare pregnant women too much even though most pregnant women already know what not to do during pregnancy anyway because we have common sense don’t we? But anyway I digress; where was I? Oh yeah anyway after Mary got dressed and cleaned up everything except for some yellow stains on the floor next to where she vomited earlier where piles of vomit still remained after being cleaned up earlier by someone else---uh oh I think my headache just got worse---anyway after Mary took care of whatever needed taking care of over there next to her shoes where she threw up everything earlier---uh oh my headache just got worse---anyway after Mary took care of everything over there next to her shoes where…oh wait let me take another aspirin first otherwise I won't be able to keep writing this story without pausing every few minutes or so due to my severe headache caused by my chronic migraines…uh oh my headache just got worse so I better go ahead and take 2 aspirin's instead one instead otherwise my headache will only get worse---anyway uh oh I think my headache just got worse---anyway after Mary took 2 aspirin's instead one aspirin otherwise I won't be able to keep writing this story without pausing every few minutes or so due…oh wait let me take another aspirin first otherwise I won't be able
