Metal Hearts: A Megaman X Love Story

I didn't know when I met him.

Was it in the first world that we explored?

Or the second?

Or third?

And even if I knew when, would it really matter anyway?

I guess it doesn't matter now, since all I have to remember him by is a few photos and a couple of memories.

Memories of when he was still alive.

Memories of how hard he tried.

Memories of the last time we fought together...

I was so proud of him back then.

When I was training him, I never thought he'd get this far, but somehow he did!

We went on an adventure together, but it didn't end well.

He nearly died saving my life... I should have been the one to save his life.

After that, we decided to go our separate ways and continue our journey alone.

It was hard doing that since we were both so attached to each other, but we had our reasons for doing so.

For me, it was because I wanted to be strong all by myself without help, and for him-- well, he always wanted to be X and not Zero.

Since then I've forgotten many things, but he will always remain in my heart as the person who saved my life and helped me find who I am today... and for that, I will forever be grateful to him no matter what happens in the future! :)

But fate has a way of bringing people back together, even when they least expect it. Weeks turned into months, and months became years since we last saw each other. Memories began to fade, replaced with new adventures and challenges. The world moved on, and so did I.

One day, as I was exploring a new world, I stumbled upon a mysterious, ancient temple. Its towering pillars and intricately carved walls intrigued me, drawing me closer to its entrance. Without hesitation, I stepped inside, my heart racing with anticipation.

To my surprise, I found myself in a vast chamber bathed in golden light. At the center stood a holographic projection of a figure, flickering in and out of existence. It was him. It was X.

I listened intently, my heart aching with a mix of longing and hope. X explained that a powerful new enemy had emerged, threatening the peace we had fought so hard to achieve. It was a force that rivaled anything we had ever faced, and it required the combined strength of both X and Zero to stand a chance.

Without hesitation, I made my decision. "X, I will join you," I said, feeling a renewed sense of purpose coursing through my veins. "We will face this new enemy together, just like we always have."

With those words, the chamber began to glow, and the hologram of X extended his hand towards me. I reached out and grasped it, feeling a surge of energy flow between us. As we stepped out of the temple, ready to face the challenges ahead, I couldn't help but feel a sense of gratitude.
