"I don't understand this, Chris. I mean... we have all the information we need to find and stop that woman, but you are telling me we have to wait and let her get away?"

Chris looked at his superior while trying to keep the anger out of his voice. "John, I know it's hard to see this, but her husband was killed yesterday by our men. They shot him in his car right outside his house. She's already a widow! We can't be responsible for more deaths!"

"You are being naive, Chris," replied John with determination in his eyes. "The woman is not just a grieving widow. She wants revenge."

Chris took a deep breath. He knew it was pointless arguing with John. John continued: "She will get revenge, Chris. It's inevitable."

"Then why not leave her be? Let her do what she has to do. We can't stop her anyway."

"We can try, Chris! You know there are other ways to deal with a monster like that! We can't let such a woman go unpunished! She might end up killing some random person and then claiming it was us. Can you imagine what a shit show that would be?"

Chris sighed again and said: "We'll have the area monitored 24/7 until she gives up or leaves the country."

Valeria walked out of the supermarket carrying two bags full of groceries. Her face still showed some signs of sadness but now she was smiling too. She had finally decided on what she had to do next and couldn't believe how easy it had been to make all the arrangements in just one day. Everything seemed to fall into place as if someone had planned it for her. And now she only needed to wait for their arrival...
