Once upon a time, in a land called Israel, there was a giant named Goliath. He was very big and strong, and he scared everyone with his size and loud voice. Goliath worked for the enemy army and wanted to fight against the Israelites.

The Israelites were worried because they didn't have anyone who could defeat Goliath. But there was a young boy named David. He was a shepherd, and he loved taking care of his sheep.

One day, David went to visit his brothers who were in the Israelite army. When he saw Goliath challenging the Israelites, David felt sad for his people. He decided to help them, even though he was just a small boy.

David told King Saul that he would fight Goliath. The king was surprised because David was young and small, but he agreed. Instead of wearing heavy armor, David picked up five small stones and put them in his bag. With his slingshot in hand, he went to face Goliath.

Goliath laughed when he saw David coming. But David was brave. He trusted in God to help him. He put a stone in his slingshot, aimed, and with a strong throw, hit Goliath right on his forehead. The giant fell down, and David won!

The Israelites cheered and celebrated their victory because of the bravery of young David. Everyone learned that even the smallest person can do big things with courage and faith.
