The sound of a thousand women screaming at the same time was like a thousand knives slicing into my ears. The pain was unbearable and I felt blood dripping down my face, but I did not care about it. I just wanted to keep running.

I could hear the thumping of the creatures' footsteps getting closer and closer behind me. They were many and they were fast, some of them even seemed to have wings. What could you expect from creatures that looked like ravens? I did not know, but I knew that they meant us no good.

Once again my feet hit the ground, this time harder than before. Not only did the sound echo through my ears, but through the entire valley as well. The echoes bounced off the steep cliffs on both sides and back up towards the sky where I saw three shadowy figures flying towards me with their wings spread wide open. Their eyes glowed red in the darkness of the night as they approached me with great speed.

With no time to lose, I channeled all of my energy into my legs and launched myself forward over an enormous pile of rocks that lay in front of me. If I could get over it without falling, then so can those beasts behind me. There was no way for them to get over that obstacle without a lot of effort and noise, giving me some precious time to regain my bearings and prepare for whatever lies beyond this mountain side pass.

There is a cliff directly beyond this pile of rocks which would offer a nice view over much of South America if there wasn't such a thick layer of fog covering it up right now, making it impossible to see more than twenty meters ahead. The fog rose high above me and spread towards both sides until it met up with the cliffs on either side, effectively blocking out any light from above. This effectively transformed our world into a massive cave where one wrong step could lead us falling hundreds of meters down until we slammed into the ground below or worse: slam into one of those creatures instead!

I quickly turned around after getting over this obstacle only to catch one of these raven-like things in its claws as it chased after me not too far away from where I stood now. A massive screeching noise escaped its beak as it reached for me with its other claw only to miss me by half a meter or so. The creature's size surprised me because most of them had very small bodies, but apparently not all of them were made alike because this one was easily twice as tall as a man!

It turned its head around after missing me and immediately began to make its way towards another path further down into the mountain pass which would allow it to rejoin its brethren somewhere behind me without having to go through all those rocks again! It disappeared between two mountains moments later leaving nothing but dead silence behind it with only one exception: thousands upon thousands of frightened breathing noises echoing throughout the valley!

My eyes searched through the darkness trying to find someone who looked familiar amongst all these scared faces before they all disappeared between those moonlit cliffs surrounding us in every direction except for one: North West where there was nothing but endless ocean waiting for us if we only had enough courage to carry on running!

My feet started moving again with no purpose other than keeping myself running forward while my hand went out in front looking for something that might guide us down safely through here so we could get out onto land again and finally take cover against these raven-like creatures who didn't seem to want anything more than enslaving us!
