Cyrus and the Ancients

Cyrus had always been an unconventional child, never afraid to go on adventures of his own. His mother knew that one day he would be off experiencing things beyond their small town of Ohio. Today was that day. After a tearful parting, Cyrus and his adventurer companion, Dr. Troriat, began their journey to seek out some of the most legendary creatures.

Though the atmosphere was exhilarating and full of energy, an eerie fog began to blanket the atmosphere. Initially they thought it was fog created by the narrow passages that they’d descended, but this time it seemed thicker, darker, and undisturbed by the breeze. It was soon revealed that the fog was caused by the Ancients, long dormant creatures who were awoken from their slumber.

As Cyrus and Dr. Troriat explored throughout the United States, the fog continued to plague them and their progress. The Ancients’ presence only spurred Cyrus’ determination. He was relentless, always putting himself in harm's way in order to protect the world from the villianous forces of the Ancients, and catch all the elusive animals of all the states he visited.

Despite the odds, Cyrus and his compatriot were able to narrowly escape peril and break through the barriers blocking their way through finding their way through the hidden pathways. Such an incredible feat of strength earned Cyrus the admiration of Dr. Troriat, who reaffirmed the power of his courage and determination.

With newfound resoluteness, Cyrus and Dr. Troriat worked together to ensure that the Ancients would finally be subdued. By combining all their fantasies, unheard of ideas, and strength of will, the two were able to outwit the powers of evil and restore the balance between the human dimension and the land of myths, legends and searching expeditions. Although they came up with a plan, they were unaware they would soon face a final test which would decide the fate of all creatures.

The most intense battle occurred right before their anticipated success. As Cyrus strived to survive, he reused his new-found powers and held off a horde of powerful giants in order to protect their location and the lives of those around him. By using the charm of the creatures, his determination combined with his bravery, Cyrus dropped a forcefield, trapping the giants and halting their attacks. With the Giant's inside, the Ancients were no more, and the world was safe.

The aftermath of their journey was overwhelming; elation and relief ruled the day as Cyrus and Dr. Troriat surveyed their accomplishments. After the dust had following, Cyrus and Dr. Troriat's travels with the animals brought a sense of harmony back and life continued for the two as if nothing had ever changed, yet still knowing that the darkness of the Ancients had been overcome. Remarkably, no epilogue was needed in this exciting and unique story of bravery and courage, showing conclusively that determination always wins.
