Amy Rose and Xavier: Love Between Worlds

I was in the middle of a forest, surrounded on all sides by trees. I didn't know where I was, or why I was there.

"What...?" I said aloud, then tapped my own head with my finger. "Amy, don't think like that."

But this was not Amy's body; I was in the body of a hedgehog. And it was not a dream, because I could feel the dry earth beneath my feet. And it wasn't an hallucination, either, because I could hear birds and bugs and wind blowing through trees. There were multiple scents in the air as well; green grass, wet dirt, and something else. Something familiar. I had smelled that scent before. It was spicy and sweet, but also a little sour.

I looked down at my feet to find some kind of food, then saw three round balls lying on the ground. When I stepped closer to examine them more carefully, they started to glow white-blue, then turned into rings around my ankles: one blue ring on my left ankle and two white rings on my right ankle.

"What are these things?" I asked myself. Then I remembered what those rings were called: Sonic's stupid Chaos Rings! So he must be nearby... Sonic the Hedgehog! He's here! Oh god! What if he sees me? My heart raced as my palms began to sweat and my legs turned rubbery; it felt like they would give way at any moment. I tried to run away from him but-

"Oh no you don't!" A voice shouted behind me as rough hands grabbed me by the shoulders and pulled me back down to the ground. "You're going nowhere."

It was Sonic the Hedgehog! He had seen me and captured me! Oh no! What would happen now? My life would never be the same again after this... whatever this is!

I wanted to get up but he held me down against his chest tightly with both arms wrapped around my waist. His face was next to mine and I could smell his breath - minty fresh - as well as feel his warm breath against my ear as he spoke. "You're not going anywhere, babygirl," he whispered gently into my ear with a soft, seductive voice that made me shiver all over. "You're mine..."

I didn't want to be his anything; especially not his property! All I wanted was for him to let go of me so that I could run away from him and back home to New Zealand as fast as possible! But... his hands felt really good wrapped around my waist like they were; they felt so big and strong and safe that it made me relax against him even though I hated every second of it...

"Please let go of me," I whimpered softly while looking straight ahead into the distance rather than at him directly in the eye; it just seemed easier somehow. But then he said something unexpected: "Don't be afraid."

"Afraid?" This was a surprise because Amy Rose doesn't do things she isn't supposed to do in her own world so why would she be afraid here? But then why wasn't she afraid of anything? Why did she insist on doing all kinds of dangerous things when she knew what would happen if she got hurt from them? She only did them because she enjoyed pushing herself in ways that scared her which is probably why her parents got so worried about her all the time...

Then there was a hand squeezing mine gently; it felt nice even though he hurt me by holding onto one arm tightly across my chest while he squeezed my hand with his other hand like this... "Don't fight it," he said softly while rubbing his cheek against mine slowly like a cat grooming himself against another animal that he liked very much. His whiskers tickled my fur slightly but his whiskers felt really good as well; they were soft yet masculine at the same time which made me wonder how long they really were...

"This is wrong," I muttered quietly while turning sideways in his arms so that we were facing each other now instead of looking straight ahead into the distance together like we had been moments earlier. Then we locked eyes together and the spark between us was undeniable despite everything that stood in our way...

I closed my eyes slowly while leaning closer to him ever so slightly until we were only inches apart from each other now; our noses touched lightly first before our lips met gently together for a brief moment. When we broke apart again, Sonic smiled broadly at me before saying: "There we go!"

"But-" Amy stuttered for a moment before she continued: "That shouldn't have happened." But it did regardless because when Amy doesn't get her way something changes within her mind or body immediately; Amy's entire personality shifts dramatically until there's no trace of her normal self left anymore... And right now there was no trace of Amy Rose anywhere except for inside Sophie's mind where she couldn't
