Tiny and the Witch of the West
·
Published 5/21/2023When an innocently gullible and clumsy woman named Tiny is forced to confront a sadistic and genius witch Mora, she must face her incredible powers and rising stakes to protect her mother's love and ultimately discover her hidden capabilities.

The day started off like any other. My mother was working at the nearby farm, and she would be gone for most of the day. I was reading a book, in my little library that I had set up in our apartment. It was a boring book, but I tried to read it as best as I could. I lived with my mother on our own, and we weren’t very well off. That’s why we lived in a small apartment space without any windows, but many bookshelves to compensate for that.
‘I wish mother was home’ I thought to myself, as I absentmindedly turned the pages of the book. ‘If only she had been home today, then perhaps Mora would have never knocked on our door.’
Mora! The name sounded so familiar to me, even though I hadn’t spoken with her before today. She was a tall and well-proportioned woman who always wore a black cloak over her white dress to cover her face and hair. I didn’t know how old she was, but she seemed too young to be considered an adult by the world's standards. In fact, age didn't seem to matter to her at all - she could be anyone's older sister if she wanted to be. But that wasn't what made her different - it was her temperament that made her stand out from everyone else in town.
Mora's personality could best be described as ‘evil’ by others in town, while they would often describe mine as ‘good’ because of my kind heart and naivete. My mother tried to make sure that I didn't get too close to Mora - she knew that Mora was bad news for kids like me and my mother who were trying their best to survive in this world.
But still... there was something about Mora that made me feel drawn towards her. It wasn't love or admiration - it was just... curiosity? No... it felt much more than just curiosity. But whatever it was, it got the better of me when I saw her outside our house today looking for someone called "The One". After seeing how beautiful and confident Mora looked today, I suddenly blurted out: "Mora! Mora is here!"
I rushed out of my room to greet her with a hug, but she immediately pushed me away when she saw me approaching her and kicked me right between my legs with a swift kick from her bare feet! She hated being touched by people! She always said that hands are dirty!
