Alpha's Pregnant Embrace

Devin paced back and forth in the small bedroom, his heart pounding in his chest. He couldn't believe it. He was pregnant. He was actually pregnant.

He had always been careful, always taken precautions to ensure that something like this would never happen. But somehow, the universe had other plans for him.

He ran a hand through his hair, trying to calm himself down. He knew he needed to tell Beckie, his mate, but he wasn't sure how she would react. They had talked about having pups someday, but they had both agreed to wait until they were more financially stable.

But now that plan was out the window. And Devin didn't know what to do.

He took a deep breath and walked out of the bedroom, making his way downstairs to the kitchen where Beckie was preparing dinner.

"Hey babe," she said with a smile as he entered the room. "How are you feeling?"

Devin forced a smile onto his face, not wanting to worry her just yet. "I'm okay," he said softly. "Just tired."

Beckie frowned and walked over to him, placing a hand on his forehead. "You don't feel warm," she said with concern. "Are you feeling sick?"

"No, I'm fine," Devin reassured her quickly. "Just tired like I said."

She looked at him skeptically for a moment before nodding slowly. "Okay," she said softly. "If you say so."

Devin let out a sigh of relief as she returned to her cooking, thankful that she hadn't pressed the issue further.

He watched her for a few moments before finally gathering the courage to speak up.

"Beckie?" he said tentatively.

"Yeah?" she replied without looking up from what she was doing.

"I need to tell you something," Devin said nervously.

Beckie finally turned to look at him, concern written all over her face. "What is it?" she asked, her voice filled with worry.

Devin took a deep breath and looked into her eyes, his heart pounding in his chest.

"I'm pregnant," he blurted out.

For a moment, there was silence. Complete and utter silence. And then...

Beckie's face broke into a wide smile as she rushed forward to wrap Devin in a tight hug.

"Oh my god," she said excitedly. "That's amazing!"

Devin blinked in surprise, not sure what to make of her reaction. "You're... happy?" he asked cautiously.

"Of course I'm happy!" Beckie exclaimed, pulling away from him to look into his eyes. "We're going to have a pup, Dev! Our own little family."

Devin felt tears welling up in his eyes as he looked at the woman he loved more than anything in the world.

"You're not mad?" he asked softly.

Beckie shook her head and brushed a thumb across his cheek, wiping away the tears that had escaped down his face.

"Why would I be mad?" she asked gently. "I love you, Devin. And I can't wait to meet our pup."

Devin let out a sob and pulled Beckie into another hug, feeling more relieved than he had ever felt in his life.

He couldn't believe how lucky he was to have someone like Beckie by his side. Someone who loved him unconditionally, no matter what mistakes he made along the way.

And as they stood there in each other's arms, Devin knew that everything was going to be okay.
