Jordan's Destiny Quest

The world was in chaos.

The great King, our lord and father had fallen to a mysterious and unknown evil. Our people fell into war with each other, fighting over every little thing, killing over land and power. The King had fallen to the Dark One, the Maker of Death, who was now sitting on the throne of our once great kingdom, ruling over our people with an iron fist.

Many of us fled across the ocean, hoping to find a new home where the Dark One would not find us. We built ships, we armed ourselves to the teeth with weapons that we crafted by hand, we hoarded all kinds of food and supplies, ready to face whatever dangers awaited us at sea. And we set sail, pushing ourselves further than any of us had ever been before. But our enemies followed us. They killed many of my brethren in cold blood. They attacked from beneath the waves, their ships moving as one like a school of sharks. The Dark One's men were skilled warriors, but they did not have our will for freedom. The oceans swallowed them up whole and spat them back upon our shores like so much rubbish to be swept away.

But not all was bad for us. As we traversed the seas we met people who aided us in our journey. Dimitri was one such man. He helped many of my people learn how to fight better and he even taught me some magic spells that I could use in battle after I defeated him in single combat! Though he is an enemy of the Dark One himself now that he has joined forces with us, I hold no ill will towards him or his kind and wish only that he may help us reclaim what is rightfully ours!

We sailed for many days until finally we arrived at a vast island where there were already many of our brethren waiting for us! We made landfall there and took shelter until it was time to begin our march on the kingdom itself! Many battles were fought on this island before we set out again onto the mainland where we could strike at the heart of the Dark One's reign! We faced many challenges along this journey but finally arrived at last at the capital city! It was time for the final battle!

As we approached closer I noticed that something strange was happening...a powerful aura seemed to be emanating from inside the castle walls themselves...the Dark One's own magic? It felt evil...yet somehow familiar...I could almost feel it calling out to me....drawing me near....as if it knew me....wanted me? It was then that I realized MY bloodline ran through these lands..it called out TO ME! It wanted ME to take what belonged TO ME by right!!! My ancestors lived here too!!! This place BELONGED TO ME!!!

I quickly sprang into action and began charging at full speed into the castle while my friends fought desperately against their foes on my behalf...we could spare no one else to aid me in my task now...all must devote their full strength against the Dark One's soldiers otherwise he would destroy my friends without breaking a sweat....no....I didn't have time to worry about those fools now.....my bloodline called out TO ME!!! I couldn't ignore its call...I couldn't ignore mine ancestors power!!!!!

As soon as I entered the castle doors I felt a surge of energy course through me...it felt right...it felt just as it had done when Dimitri taught me how to use magic back on that island after defeating him in single combat....but this was different...more intense....even more powerful!!!!!! I felt stronger than ever before!!!!!! My hair turned white as if it were snow falling from above!!!!!! My eyes glowed red!!!!!! My power grew stronger with each passing moment!!!!! This was what it felt like when Dimitri taught me how to use magic!!!!!!!!!! Was this REAL magic??? Was THIS what my ancestors were capable of??? This power coursing throughout my body???? Did they really have this kind of power??? Could this really be possible????? No time for questions now though!!!! Single-handedly I tore through wave after wave after wave after wave after wave after wave after wave after wave after wave after wave after wave after wave after wave after wave after wave AFTER WAVE OF THE DARK ONE'S FOES!!! I WAS A GOD ON EARTH BATTLEING A DEMON FOR THE THRONE THAT WAS MINE BY RIGHT!!!!!!
