Mrs. Garson had let me leave work early today, since I was supposed to be working at the library anyway, so I decided to stop by the Jockstrap-n-Jumpsuit shop on my way to the library.

I had been thinking about getting a wetsuit for a while now, but I hadn't found one that fit me right or that looked good on me. The ones in Mr. Garson's store weren't bad looking, but they were all too short and didn't have a long enough torso.

I had been at the store for a while looking around when an older man walked up to me and asked if I needed any help. He seemed really pleasant, so I told him I was looking for something that would fit my frame better than what he had on display.

He smiled and said, "Well then you're in luck! This is where we keep our custom wetsuits." He led me to a room in the back of the store and opened a door that led down some stairs into a basement. Down there were racks after racks of wetsuit pieces, some with people standing in them while others were hanging off of hooks on a rack nearby. He also had some small tables set up with sewing machines.

"This is where we make all of our custom suits here," he said as he showed me how to find the pieces that would go over my arms and legs. "Ah, yes," he continued as he handed me the large torso piece, "this one should fit you perfectly."

The suit was mostly black with red dots spread out all over it. There was no zipper for this one; instead it had buttons running across the front of it with two holes at each end for my legs to go through. On both sides of the suit there were two straps that went around my hips and chest area and connected to the back of the suit behind my neck. These straps would allow someone else to inflate it if they wanted. I thanked Mr. Garson and said goodbye before heading out to the library just down the street from his shop.

When I walked into the library, everyone seemed surprised to see me arrive so soon after leaving work early today. It wasn't unusual for me to show up early, because usually I got bored working at Mrs. Garson's shop and would take naps in her car until she came out and yelled at me that customers were arriving again.

Today though I just decided that I didn't want to spend another minute working there, especially since Mrs. Garson always liked hiring people who were much younger than herself even though she was pushing 70 years old herself this year! She had hired her grand daughter just last week even though she only graduated from high school last year! She kept telling everyone how great her grand daughter was because she took classes online through her laptop while living on her own in California! What kind of job lets you do that?

After being back in town for just 6 days, her granddaughter managed to get herself hired by her grandmother. Most people seemed to excuse her laziness when she lived here, thinking she was just shy. So, eager to try out the new wetsuit parts Mr. Garson gave me earlier, I left work and went straight to the library.

When I entered the library wearing the new wetsuit components, everyone seemed surprised by my attire, but after a few minutes, everyone went back to what they were doing, and I was able to have some time alone. However, as soon as people stopped staring, my stomach began to gurgle loudly, and I let out an embarrassingly loud fart.

Doing my best not to laugh nervously, I quickly left the scene. Unfortunately, just as I ran into my two closest friends, Malachi and Jessica, and tried to show them the wetsuit parts Mrs. Garson had given me earlier, another loud fart escaped, causing even more laughter and embarrassment.
