Tom, Steve, Clare, Christina, Joe and Amy are six adulterous friends looking to escape the mundane of everyday life in England in the 22nd century. Eager to start anew, they decide to attend a martial arts movie marathon. On the outside, it appears a harmless endeavor, however once they’re inside they are immediately taken aback by a feeling of unconditional love and hear an unfamiliar voice that tells them they need to recommit to their spouses. They wake up to find themselves no longer in the movie theater, but in an alternate world that closely resembles Las Vegas.
Throughout , the group of six embark on a journey of temptation throughout the glittering town, exploring the various casinos, cults, and nightlife that the unfamiliar land offers. While having a great time, their convictions start to weaken, and each of the six reflects on their marital promises and the significance of the all-encompassing love.
In crisis and no closer to an answer, the group decides to double-down on their pleasurable activities and risk it all. Bonds deepen and guilt rises with each underhanded act, as they are further unable to break free of their impaired judgement, until they are ultimately confronted by a higher power. It’s only in this moment that they realize they have truly strayed from their paths and must recommit to the ones they hold deeply in their hearts
They ease away from the underbelly of the city, and make their way back the real world, still feeling the presence of what they thought they knew before. Tom, Steve, Clare, Christina, Joe and Amy have all recommitted their strains to their respective spouses, and go on to embrace a newfound appreciation for marriage and true love.
