Atlantic Terror: The Killer's Game
·
Published 3/1/2023Five fearless teens, Emily, Bennie, Larissa, Chris, and Marco, bravely embark on a summer camp trip by the Atlantic only to be thrown into an intense, game of life and death with a cunning serial killer, testing their courage and wit as they fight to survive and outwit the killer.
Bennie, Larissa, and Emily were all in the tent together, giggling at something Bennie said.
Chris and Marco were outside the tent, both trying to sleep but unable to do so because of the girls' laughter. "Dude," Chris hissed, "can't they just shut up?"
"They're girls," Marco said. "They're going to be loud."
"I guess. But still..." Chris sighed, then changed the subject. "Hey, it's nice out today."
Marco nodded. Then he noticed a tall figure standing by a tree near their tent. No - not standing. Hiding behind it, his face almost completely obscured by its trunk. As Marco watched, the figure moved closer to them until he was only a few feet away from their tent. Marco tried to call out to him but couldn't get anything to come out of his mouth. After what felt like hours but was probably only seconds, the figure stuck his hand out of his hiding spot and pointed a gun directly at Chris's head.
Chris heard a bang and felt an intense pain in his chest - no, it wasn't pain. It was pressure - he was underwater! He opened his eyes and saw that he was indeed underwater, with the entire world around him tinted blue-green by the water surrounding him. He tried to swim up but the weight of his clothes pulled him back down into the watery depths. He had already drifted away from camp and was now swimming towards the open ocean when suddenly he felt himself being pulled upwards into a bright orange light shining through the surface above him. As he broke through the water's surface he opened his mouth to take in some air, but all that came out of it was an exhausted cough as he tried to catch his breath again after being under water for so long. He looked around wildly for any sign of where he might be or how far away from camp he was but saw nothing except for a single orange life raft floating on top of the water about ten feet away from him on the left side of his field of vision. He swam over to the raft and clambered inside it before collapsing onto its floor in exhaustion. What happened? Did someone throw him overboard or did someone shoot at him? His last memory before waking up here was seeing a gun pointed at his head...
