A Dream of Magic and Love: Beatrice's Journey

 Our protagonist is Maria Santos, a brilliant, awkward 16-year-old girl living in São Paulo, Brazil in the 22nd century. She lives a fairly normal teenage life until her parents, who have been transferred to a new Mars Base, announce that she must move to Mars with them in six weeks. Maria is furious and resentful, away with the idea that due to the move, she must leave her friends, home and school behind her. As she struggles to come to terms with her parents' decision, she realises that she must take advantage of the sudden change and inserts herself into a new circle of wealthy and high-profile people, led by the exotic and cosmopolitan Maximillian Peralta. Through her newfound friendships and a keen eye for taking action and grasping opportunities, Maria embarks on a journey of self-discovery, coming out of her shell, learning about worldly pleasures, and eventually facing great life obstacles much grander than she ever envisioned. Told with sardonic humor, the vibrant dialogue in the story reflects Maria's growing confidence as she learns to embrace her environment, rising up to the challenge of her new Mars life.

Act 1 - End of the Beginning: The story opens with Maria Santos, a 16-year-old Brazilian girl, being informed that her family is to move to Mars. Unexpectedly uprooted, Maria is angry and resentful at having to leave her friends, home, and school. Her parents try to convince her that living a new life on Mars could be an incredible opportunity and they make plans to transition to the red planet in six weeks.

Act 2 - Midpoint: As their journey to their new home on Mars nears, Maria reluctantly admits that it may be time for her to open her wings and explore. She comes across Maximillian Peralta, a wealthy and high-profile man from Mars, who invites her to a prestigious social gathering on the planet. Though initially intimidated, Maria is amazed to find out that she has more in common with this exotic and cosmopolitan crowd than she had ever expected. She is surprised and thrilled to discover the opportunities in her new environment. Meanwhile, her relationship with her parents also begins to improve.

Act 3 - Crisis: This newfound positivity is shortlived as Maria quickly comes to realize that living on Mars isn’t a picnic. Strapped by the harsh environment and limited resources of the red planet, her everyday tasks become painful and arduous. After an affair with the son of a rival Mars Base colonizer, Maria has her wings sliced off, making it nearly impossible to move around. With every last movement of hers a struggle and every action under intense scrutiny, Maria finds herself defenseless in a place that she had grown to call home.

Act 4 - Climax: Maria feels defeated, agonizing over her lack of power in the Mars Base and her own self-perceived inadequacies. After days of inner debate and agonizing reflection, she eventually realizes that all the power she needs is within herself. Resolving to never give in even if it means taking her own life, Maria summons every ounce of courage to plan an escape from the base, leading an open rebellion against her captors and single-handedly taking on her dark adversaries with her damaged wings and her sheer strength of will. Even when everything seems lost, Maria is able to overcome the worst and finds triumph in the least expected way.

 Bianca, a 14th century Italian teen girl from a small port town in Italy, has been struggling to find her footing in life even with the wisdom of her philosophical parents. When her parents are unexpectedly transferred to the Mars base, Bianca and her family relocate to a new life in outer space. Unfortunately, this means leaving her beloved friends and home behind. On Mars, Bianca finds the whole adjustment disorienting, particularly because of the inhospitable environment. Despite this, Bianca finds solace in befriending local teens who are also struggling to find their place on the red planet. Life on Mars is a rollercoaster of unsure steps and high expectations, but Bianca soon discovers that she is stronger than she thinks — and that great bonds can be made even in the most daunting of places. With her newfound strength, Bianca takes control on Mars and flourishes in ways she never thought possible.

Act 1. End of the Beginning:

Bianca packs her bags with a heavy heart as she nervously glances around her home, seeing all the familiar things she's leaving behind on Earth. Everywhere she looks are memories, symbols of the life she once lived. She sulks about on the transport ship to Mars, dreading the inevitable change hanging before her. 

Finally, they make landfall in the new Mars Base. Bianca steps onto the red dust in terror, and her peers look at her with an uncertain gaze. Even her own parents seem uncertain to their new footing. Bianca feels isolated and lonely, thinking their stay surely won't last long. Little do they know, their life in Mars will be longer than they could have ever anticipated. 

Despite her image of loneliness and discontent, in the background Bianca feels a strange pull like a hidden but powerful force. She realizes that her peers and the local citizens at Base look to her for their leadership. Fate has given her the chance to prove herself as a leader and learn of the true gifts Mars has to offer. 

Act 2. Midpoint:

Though her parents begin to take opportunities and make new relationships, it's Bianca who takes the initiative to venture out into the dust. She trades jests with the local teens, always the first to greet them with a winning smile. Though at first the local teens are taken aback by the sudden change, they find they have much in common. Bianca and the locals share laughter and secrets, and by growing closer she meets other Mars natives who don't quite fit the mold that have had to cope for years with the hostile Mars conditions.

Bit by bit, Bianca begins to preen away at the veneer of Martian culture, coupled with stories from Earth, and a wild array of trades and talents from her new group. This is truly inspired by Bianca's new found confidence and boldness, something she found hidden in the depths of her heart that no one could have known about. 

As this new global unification begins, Bianca is the face which the masses of Mars back, the petite cheerleader for a bold merger of multiple cultures, which would once have seemed unfathomable.

Act 3. Crisis:

Groups across the planet are shaking and grounds don't only tremble with excitement, but also with fear. Those in power stir and whisper rumours around, gaining popular traction through various factions, all with their own hidden agenda. 

The tables turn on Bianca, she starts experiencing intense depression. She cannot seem to handle the newfound political pressure and expectations on her capabilities to form one unified Martian front. All see her as the seer of a new era, the rock solid hope of it all, and she starts clinging to those pressures and expectations. Feeling like she’s reached a breaking point, Bianca steps back from the mobilization, instead opting to merely watch from afar instead of take a role in it. 

Unexpectedly came news of a secret underground base in the deepest parts of the planet, a place where new forms of unimaginable technology were being hacked and produced to help alleviate the harsh conditions and appearance of pro-Mars unions. As expected, a portion of the groups in favour debated and argued the best course of action to take, but Bianca resolutely held her ground, saying that it was up to science and logic, actions instead of words, to ensure revitalizing the red planet. 

Act 4. Climax:

Support appears to waver as doubts rise and divides abound, until Bianca and her brave followers press further into the depths of the dark planet. Ulexitons, miraculously remaining unharmed and living organisms, are discovered and solutions begin to develop. Those previously doubting now stand together and the dream of a unified, self-sufficient Mars starts becoming tangible.

Using her courageous attitude and the newfound knowledge that was smuggled out of the depths of Mars, Bianca holds a rally to discuss what she wants. Old divides rise up but she never swayed. The tide had turned and Bianca was there as a leader to seize that change. In that moment, every person on Mars finally cheered for the same cause for a unified effort towards the same planet and a better future, individually and communally. 

At last, Bianca finally gathers the strength she needed to forge a conclusion and how the planet will be governed in this new era. Though it’s not what everyone expected, Bianca knew it was for the greater good and founded a constitutional government in which the diverse originators of Mars can look upon a common agreement and joyously move forward.

With the new leadership, Bianca soon finds that Mars can truly be a place of growth and transformation, and with her brave adventure, the planet has been pushed to future innovation and strong civil society.

 In a distant future, Mischievous 12-year old Felicity is left with no choice but to move to the Mars Base with her parents when they are assigned to transfer there. Although initially excited of the prospect of getting to visit a new and foreign planet, Felicity gradually realizes that her new home isn't a place of exploration or discovery like she initially imagined - it is a government fort conducting secretive experiments. Despite her insistent warnings, Felicity searches for answers to unravel the hidden conspiracy. Along the way, she meets a number of unusual characters that help as well as misguide her. As Felicity comes closer to the truth, her encounters become more daunting and dangerous, resulting in a gripping climax as Felicity successfully tells her story and reveals the secrets of the Mars Base to the rest of the universe with a Wordplay-filled flair, adding an edge to the Sad tone of the story.

Disobeying her parents, she begins to question the unusual environment, uncovering her first clue that stirs up further doubts. Despite being told to stay out of trouble, Felicity continues to observe the suspicious activities and longingly glances at the map of an unexplored side of the base, where lies potential answers to her queries. Although her journey won't be easy as the government guards are always watching with a close eye, Felicity resolves to explore the unknown and decides to enlist some friend's help - Flemwell, a local smuggler with questionable allegiance to the government. 

Act 2: Midpoint

After gathering the necessary supplies, Felicity and Flemwell secretly set off in a self-piloted rover toward the unexplored area of thebase. Despite the dangers of the journey, Felicity is determined to follow her instincts and ignore her fear, continuing on more resolutely than ever. Along their travels, the two traverse intricate caves, hazardous landmines, and unpredictable robotic creatures while gathering intel on their mission. One of their greatest finds is a data recording highlighting mysterious meetings between the top militia strategists secretly discussing an interstellar weapons program with far reaching consequences. Even amidst their surprisingly successful feats, their journey is haunted by the paranoia of incessant governmental watch, putting Felicity and Flemwell in the line of fire.  

Act 3: Crisis

As news of their exploits spread, Felicity and Flemwell find their abilities threatened - huge ships and drones crop up with terrifying force, cutting off access to the areas they hope to explore. With the looming threat of death or imprisonment, Felicity and Flemwell devise a daring plan for smuggling the evidence away and ensuring justice is served to the authorities at fault. Thinking the least expected route of exits, the duo bet their way out of the Mars Base and to an unsuspecting population circling light years away, leaving the headquarters with a single sticking card reminding of the utmost caution they needed to use in order to get away.

Act 4: Climax

With the evidence shown to public, the importance of Felicity and Flemwell’s mission soon brings even international attention. As new questions are raised, Felicity soon finds herself hailed as a hero of her planet, finally fulfilling her initial dream of travelling and exploring. Despite the infamy and fast pace of life, Felicity takes time to appreciate the little joys and sweet moments she finds in her newfound home. With the world at her feet, the mischievous protagonist is ready to use her curiosity and daring adventure to make all of her dreams come true.
