Astrid perched on the edge of the cliff, her eyes fixed on the village of Berk below. The sun was setting, casting a warm glow over the thatched roofs and wooden structures. It was a peaceful scene, one that Astrid had come to love during her time in the village.

She took a deep breath and transformed into her true dragon form: a sleek black Night Fury with glowing blue eyes.

Hiccup stopped in his tracks, his eyes widening in shock. "Astrid?" he gasped.

She landed in front of him and nuzzled his cheek affectionately. Then she took off into the sky, leading the other dragons away from Berk.
