It was a beautiful day for the camp. We were getting ready for the next phase of our training and I was in high spirits. We had been training for this moment for so long, we couldn't afford to screw up now.

It was my job to make sure that we were prepared, that we had the right equipment and knew how to use it. Today we were going over the MG 42s, how they worked and how to fix them when they broke down. I watched as the men picked up their rifles and started practicing loading them. They loaded them slowly at first, but by the end of the day they could load them in a blink of an eye.

The sun was shining and there was not a cloud in sight. This suited me just fine because I really didn't want to think about where I was and what I was doing today. It is hard to remember what life used to be like before we lost England. The war went on for so long that after awhile I stopped thinking about home, about Dad, or Mum, or my little sister Sally. Sometimes I would dream about her and wake up feeling tears running down my face. That's why today with the sun smiling on us I wanted to forget who I used to be and just enjoy being alive and free in this beautiful country surrounded by nature and friends. It wasn't always like that though; there were hard days too, days where we thought all hope was lost.

There was one time when we thought we would never see another day, that Germany would win the war and we would all be doomed, that is until America joined Germany instead of helping England fight against it! That's right American joined Germany instead of helping us! How messed up is that?

We kept fighting but it seemed like all hope was lost; then one day America joined us! They helped us win the war and then suddenly bombed Japan into oblivion! In hindsight, it did feel a little weird that America just decided to help England out of nowhere but at the time everyone just celebrated together! The war finally ended and everyone celebrated including me! After all those years of fighting it was finally over! We were going home!

That's when everything turned sour; Germany demanded reparations from England for all they had caused during their occupation during the war: All their land and resources along with punishment for those who fought against them. Not only did they demand reparations but they also demanded that they be allowed to occupy large parts of England as well as large amounts of money in exchange for protection from other countries such as France and America who might want to take advantage of their weakened state during wartime. They also demanded that all English people leave England if they wanted to stay safe during this time period. Those who didn't leave would have to live under German rule or die trying to leave England since Germany prohibited anyone from leaving the country including British citizens themselves! So many people died trying to flee from London or other major cities before Germany was able to fully occupy our country; however, once occupied there was no escape from German rule unless you left your entire family behind which many English people did give up their families for freedom in other European countries such as Belgium or France who also helped Britain fight against Germany during the war as well as selling out Britain afterwards once Germany won. Many also left for America wishing not to be associated with Europe at all while others stayed in England hoping that one day they could return home without fear of persecution by Germans or Frenchmen alike! That's why I stayed even though many said I should go somewhere safer: My country needed me along with hundreds of others who believed in fighting back against this unprovoked invasion by Germany even though our government sold us out! We had nothing left but each other so we despite our poor living conditions continued making weapons secretly hoping one day an ally would save us from this nightmare called occupation while secretly waiting for America to return again without asking any questions this time around because after all they saved us once already during WW2 why wouldn't they do it again? The fact is America bailed out on us twice so now we are stuck here at a secret camp preparing ourselves for an attack that may never come since no one has seen any sign of American support yet…
