"Well, this is it," I said to myself as I walked into the school building. I knew that some people would recognize me, and other people wouldn't care. It was a risk, but I had to do something about it. So, here I was. Walking through the halls of Franklin High School once again. A little nervous, but more excited than ever.

The first thing I did when I walked in was not look around like I used to. I kept my head down and walked straight to my locker.

"Hey, what's up? You look different… You got an eating disorder or something?" A guy named Brian said as he walked by me.

I turned around and looked at him for a second before looking away again and laughing sarcastically. "Yeah right, who do you think you are? God? No one has the power to change their appearance at will! Well, guess what, not even God can change my appearance!" My voice echoed throughout the hallway as everyone stopped and stared at us. They probably all thought we were fighting or something, but in reality, we were only talking. He didn't know what to say after that, so he just made a stupid face and left with his friends.

I felt a little guilty having talked to him like that in front of everyone, but if he wasn't going to be nice, then neither was I!

I put my bag down on my desk and sat down in a chair next to it. A girl came over and sat down next to me. Her name was Colleen. She was nice enough to talk to me last year when everyone else was being mean, so she seemed like a good person to start off with today.

"Hey," she said quietly while still looking at her phone. "Are things better now?" She asked me in almost a whisper so that no one else could hear us talking about it.

"Yea," was all I said back because there wasn't much else to say about it at this point. It happened more than 10 years ago, so there wasn't much else for me to say about it right now anyway! We both went quiet after that until the bell rang for class.

During class, Mr. Smith started telling us about how he had been working on this new project with someone from his daughter's school in Italy where they were planning on building a bridge between two towns across the ocean! Everyone seemed really interested in hearing about it, but if you ask me, it sounded pretty boring! After class ended, though, I found out how wrong I was when he told us how incredible this bridge would be! It could support thousands of pounds of weight and have cars drive over it from town to town! It sounded like something out of a movie! It actually made me feel kind of proud of being born here for once! Maybe this town isn't so bad after all... Maybe... just maybe...

The next couple of days went by pretty well, actually! People started being nicer to me sometimes during lunch or wherever else we might bump into each other outside of school too, which surprised me since most people from here move away eventually. Anyway, one time during lunch, Colleen introduced me to her friend Linda, who had also transferred here last year or whenever it was that she came here too. They both were really nice girls who always seemed happy whenever they talked or ate, so they helped brighten up my day every time they were around, which is probably why we became friends pretty quickly!! The three of us even started hanging out in our free time outside of school because we already knew each other pretty well by then.

But either way, that's beside the point!!! What's important is what happened later on… The day everything changed forever… The day I finally decided enough was enough and had the courage to try something big… Something risky… Something so audacious that no one would believe it unless they saw it with their own eyes. So, basically, the day I decided to go back in time. Past life regression therapy allowed me to journey to the past.

You should have seen their faces! They couldn't believe their eyes! We all jumped up out of our seats with our hands raised high over our heads, screaming, "We did it!! We did it!! We did iiiiiiitt!!!" Over and over again while dancing around like maniacs in circles!

And before you ask if anyone died – the answer is obviously no because, otherwise, we wouldn't be here writing this story now.

Anyway, long story short, we went back in time and lived through a bunch of events from 1100 AD Italy, including traveling through the cities and meeting some real-life princesses from medieval times who were kind enough to let us stay at their palace for a while! After living through all those experiences - some magical, some horrifying, some happy, some sad - we learned more about ourselves than ever before! And more
