Kazuya sat on the couch, staring at his phone. He had just finished watching the most recent episode of "Rent-A-Girlfriend," and he couldn't get it out of his head. The show was about a college student named Kazuya who rented a girlfriend named Chizuru to keep up appearances with his family and friends. "You know," Mami said suddenly, breaking Kazuya out of his thoughts. "I've been thinking..."

Kazuya looked at her curiously. "About what?"

Mami hesitated for a moment before continuing. "Well... I know that we're just supposed to be dating as part of our rental agreement, but... I really like you, Kazuya."

Kazuya's heart skipped a beat. Did he hear her right? Did she just say that she liked him?

"I mean," Mami continued nervously, "if you don't feel the same way, that's totally fine! We can just keep things the way they are. But I wanted you to know how I felt."

Kazuya smiled at her and reached across the table to take her hand in his. "Mami... I like you too. More than I can even put into words."

Mami's eyes lit up with happiness as she squeezed Kazuya's hand tightly. "Really? You mean it?"

Kazuya nodded earnestly. "Of course I do."

Mami grinned at him and leaned across the table to give him a gentle kiss on the lips.

"I'm so glad," she said softly.

As Kazuya kissed Mami back, he couldn't help but think about how his life had changed since he started renting a girlfriend. He never could have imagined that he would end up falling in love with someone like Mami.
