Honesty's Priceless Pact

In the peaceful African village of Manthonga, known for its warm community and beautiful landscapes, lived Avia, a kind and wise young woman admired by many. Avia had a very peculiar request for anyone who wanted to marry her: they had to promise never to tell fibs or keep any secrets. Many young men tried to win her heart, but they found it difficult to live up to her honesty rule, and so they left the village, still searching for love.

One day, a clever teacher named Thapse came to Manthonga. He admired Avia and decided he wanted to marry her. Thapse thought to himself, "I can win her heart, even if I have to keep a small secret." You see, Thapse was a little worried about something very ordinary: he thought Avia might find it funny or strange if he had to take breaks to use the bathroom. Instead of being honest, he decided to hide it.

Thapse spent a few days practicing how to avoid using the bathroom as much as possible. Then, feeling ready, he asked Avia to marry him, promising to be the most honest husband she could imagine. They had a wonderful wedding, and the village celebrated with dancing, music, and feasts.

At first, everything seemed perfect. But as time passed, Thapses small secret began to bother him. It was as if his worry was turning into a silly, mischievous little creaturesomething he called "The Grumbling Grump." The Grumbling Grump would appear whenever Thapse felt uneasy about keeping his secret. It didnt harm him, but it made funny soundsgiggles and grumblesas if to remind Thapse that he wasnt being completely truthful.

Thapse tried his best to ignore the Grumbling Grump at first. He thought maybe it would go away on its own. But it followed him everywherehe couldnt escape! It would hide behind trees and rocks, popping out just when Thapse least expected it. It would make its funny noises, grumbling loudly or letting out a mischievous giggle. The more Thapse tried to ignore it, the louder it became.
