Wax Knight's Letter

As he lay in the grass, Tetsu thought of his friend Yin. He hadn't seen her since they parted ways weeks ago. The sky was dark and stars shone brightly, but no moon graced them tonight. He missed her, her playful smile and her beautiful eyes. She was always so kind to him, she didn't deserve what happened to her family. In fact he didn't deserve what happened to him either. They had met years ago on their first day at a new school in their hometown of Daegu. They lived near each other and would walk together everyday. They were inseparable from that day forward. Together they went through elementary school, middle school, high school and even college. They left home at the same time and moved to Seoul to pursue their dreams. Tetsu wanted to be an actor and Yin a nurse practitioner. Eventually they found part-time jobs at a small café named "Cafe Lights". It was here that he met Chanyeol and made a new friend along with another part-time worker by the name of Jongin who worked as a waiter there. It was here that he also met Jongdae one day when picking up his paycheck from his boss Joonmyun who was also the owner of the café and a close childhood friend of Chanyeol's older brother Baekhyun. He never really got along with Baekhyun though, he thought he was creepy for some reason. But Chanyeol was always nice to him and treated him just like a brother almost immediately after meeting him when Tetsu was sitting at one of the tables eating his lunch break food as Yin finished mopping the floor nearby. One day while working Tetsu had finished mopping up a spill that had gotten on the floor but forgot to clean it up properly which caused Chanyeol to scold him in front of everyone causing Yin to step in and defend him, telling Chanyeol that Tetsu had been sick recently and wasn't feeling well enough to concentrate on work that day which caused Chanyeol to apologize profusely before leaving Tetsu alone while telling him not to make such a mess again or else he'd get fired next time and have no job. Later that night after being paid his weekly wages Yin came over to his apartment where he lived alone except for his cat Jinwoo (who liked fish flavored treats) with some food she made for him which made him happy as she cooked for him every night when she visited because she said it helped keep away loneliness as she worked full-time as an aide at an elderly home caring for residents there while attending nursing school at night once she got off work which usually kept her busy most nights until late into the night or early morning depending on how many patients were admitted that day or if any emergencies or deaths occurred during those hours forcing her to stay longer than usual causing her to miss dinner at home causing them both much sorrow but they loved one another deeply despite this hardship they faced together being apart most days due to work making it hard for them to see each other much although they still tried their best every chance they got cause they knew it wouldn't last forever since Tetsu planned on becoming an actor soon after he graduated from high school then college believing it would be easier there than in Seoul where everything seemed so big and overwhelming cause they didn't have much family left anymore especially after hearing the news about Yin's family being killed in a car crash while visiting relatives out of town which is why she moved away from Daegu with him when they turned 18 years old only living closer now under better circumstances than what could have been if left alone back home which saddened them both greatly as all their family members were gone now except for each other having lost their grandparents years ago as well as both sets of parents, but memorizing each others face always kept them going knowing their love could get them through anything and nothing could tear them apart no matter how far apart they got always loving each other no matter what even though fate would eventually tear them apart too no matter how hard they tried staying together because sometimes getting lost between two places can be easy when fate wants you apart...

A sharp pain suddenly jolted Tetsu awake! What happened? He opened his eyes quickly scanning around frantically trying to figure out where he was looking up at tall trees surrounding him in an open forest clearing illuminated by moonlight shining down upon everything covering everything in its silvery glow. His chest felt heavy like someone sat on it pressing down hard against his body making it difficult to breathe causing short ragged breaths escaping past his lips rapidly filling the air with white puffy clouds mixing with cold air rushing past his face mixing together creating a thick fog similar to what you'd see rising off warm asphalt during spring mornings after heavy rainstorms that blanketed everything in white dew making everything look magical and beautiful as well as eerily quiet without any sounds other than twigs snapping underfoot
