Millimeter Giant Killer

"Another night at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza," Mark muttered to himself as he pulled into the parking lot. He had been working as a night guard at the popular children's restaurant for a few months now, and while the job was far from exciting, it paid well enough to make it worth his while.
As he walked through the front doors, Mark couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. There was something about the place that always gave him the creeps, especially when he was alone at night. The animatronic characters that lined the walls seemed to come alive in the darkness, their lifeless eyes following his every move.
Shaking off his nerves, Mark made his way to the security office and settled into his chair. He glanced at the clock on the wall - 11:55 PM. Five minutes until his shift officially started.
Just then, the phone on his desk rang, causing him to jump in surprise. He quickly picked up the receiver and held it to his ear.
"Hello?" he said cautiously.
"Hey there, buddy! It's me, Mike!" came a cheerful voice on the other end of the line.
Mark let out a sigh of relief. Mike was one of the day guards who trained him when he first started working at Freddy Fazbear's.
"Oh, hey Mike," Mark said with a smile. "What's up?"
"I just wanted to give you a heads up before you got started," Mike explained. "The animatronics can be a bit... unpredictable at night."
Mark furrowed his brow in confusion. "What do you mean by 'unpredictable'?"
"Well," Mike began hesitantly, "sometimes they... wander around."
Mark's eyes went wide with alarm. "Wait, what? You're telling me that those things come to life at night?"
Mike chuckled nervously. "Well, not exactly. They're not really 'alive' per se, but they do tend to... roam the building after hours."
Mark felt a chill run down his spine. He had always suspected that there was something off about those animatronics, and now his worst fears were being confirmed.
"Don't worry, though," Mike continued. "They're programmed to stay in their designated areas and shouldn't be able to get into the security office. Just keep an eye on them with the cameras and you'll be fine."
"Okay, thanks for the warning," Mark said, trying to sound as calm as possible.
"No problem, buddy! You've got this!" Mike said cheerfully before hanging up.
Mark set the phone back in its cradle and took a deep breath. He glanced at the clock - 12:01 AM. His shift had officially begun.
He turned on the monitor in front of him and pulled up the camera feed for Pirate Cove. The curtain was closed, indicating that Foxy was still in his proper place.
Mark let out a sigh of relief and began cycling through the other camera feeds. Show Stage - all clear. Dining Area - all clear. East Hall - all clear.
As he continued to check each camera feed, Mark couldn't shake the feeling that he was being watched. He glanced over his shoulder but saw nothing out of the ordinary.
"Get a grip," he muttered to himself as he returned his attention to the monitor.
Just then, a loud crash echoed from somewhere in the building, causing Mark to jump in his seat.
"What was that?!" he exclaimed aloud.
He quickly pulled up the camera feed for Parts & Service and gasped at what he saw - Freddy Fazbear was no longer on stage but instead standing just outside of Parts & Service staring directly into one of the cameras!
"How is that even possible?!" Mark whispered in disbelief.
Before he could react, the screen went black, and a deep, menacing voice filled the room.
"I see you," it said ominously.
Mark felt his heart race as he frantically tried to pull up another camera feed. The screen remained black, and the voice spoke again.
"There's no escape."
Suddenly, the lights in the office flickered and went out, leaving Mark in complete darkness. He fumbled for his flashlight and quickly turned it on, scanning the room for any sign of movement.
As he shone the light around the office, Mark's eyes widened with terror - standing just a few feet away from him were all four of the animatronic characters: Freddy Fazbear, Bonnie the Bunny, Chica the Chicken, and Foxy the Pirate.
"What do you want from me?!" Mark shouted in fear.
The animatronics stood motionless for a moment before Bonnie stepped forward and spoke in a deep voice that didn't quite match his childlike appearance.
"We want to play... with you."
Before Mark could react, Bonnie lunged at him with surprising speed. He managed to dodge out of the way just in time but dropped his flashlight in the process.
He scrambled to pick it up but was knocked to the ground by Chica. She pinned him down with her massive metal foot as Freddy and Foxy closed in around him.
Mark struggled to free himself but was no match for their strength. He looked up at them in desperation as they leaned closer, their lifeless eyes staring into his soul.
"Please... don't..." he pleaded weakly.
Just then, there was a blinding flash of light followed by an ear-splitting screech. Mark shielded his eyes as he looked up to see what was happening.
To his amazement, all four of the animatronics had been reduced to tiny figures no more than an inch tall! Standing over them was a mysterious figure dressed in a black suit.
He reached down and picked up the shrunken animatronics, examining them closely before placing them in a small glass jar.
Mark sat up and stared at the man in disbelief. "Who are you? What just happened?"
The man turned to Mark and smiled. "My name is Henry, and I'm here to help you."
"Help me? With what?" Mark asked, still trying to process what had just happened.
"With surviving the night," Henry replied. "But we don't have much time. Follow me."
Mark hesitated for a moment before scrambling to his feet and following Henry out of the security office.
As they made their way through the darkened restaurant, Mark couldn't help but wonder what he had gotten himself into. Little did he know, this was only the beginning of a long and terrifying night at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza.
