"You're kidding, right?" I asked the man.

"No!" he replied, "I swear to you, Miss Rey. In the beginning, there was darkness and there was nothing. And then, the Doctora came."

I sat in my seat of disbelief. The entire plane ride was spent listening to the stranger tell his story. What started as a moment where I was merely trying to escape boredom turned into an impromptu pilgrimage of epic proportions. Now I sat in an airport restaurant waiting for my flight, while the man continued his tale.

"The Doctora had banished from their realm a very evil demon named Belthir. This demon had been put on trial for causing too much chaos among the other demons and for spreading dissent amongst them."

"Wait..." I interrupted, "Just how many demons are we talking about here?"

"Thousands..." he replied looking up from his coffee, "And billions of angels too."

"Angels? Really? But how did they not just take over heaven and kick the demons out?" I asked.

"The Doctora didn't want that," he said with a smile, "They wanted to keep heaven as a place of peace and tranquility where worship could take place. They didn't want it to be corrupted by war like so many other worlds have been throughout time."

"So they banished a rebel amongst the demons..." I mumbled to myself more than him.

"Yes!" he exclaimed, "Well anyway...two angels were given the task of exiling Belthir to Earth."

"Wait...you seriously mean Earth? Not another planet or something?" I asked. He cocked his head sideways with a quizzical look on his face. It was quite endearing actually. It made me feel like we were back in high school at lunch and he had just asked me for help understanding something in English class. This only made me want to hear more of his story even more however. So instead of letting him know what a bonehead question that was I just kept going with my questions without missing a beat.

"Wow...that's really specific..." I said sarcastically as I took another sip of my coffee, "That's all sorts of convenient." He smiled at me showing off all of his crooked teeth again making me laugh happily. Then he continued on with his story as if nothing happened

"Yes! Yes it is!" he said beaming with pride, "It was quite miraculous actually! God himself appeared before us shortly before our journey began and explained everything we needed to know! It was so exciting! The two angels who were chosen were named Ugarl and Rolandao! They were both fierce warriors who would do anything for God's glory!"

As the man continued his animated storytelling, I couldn't help but be captivated by his enthusiasm. His eyes sparkled with a childlike wonder, drawing me deeper into the fantastical world he described. It was as if he truly believed every word he spoke, and his conviction was infectious.

"Ugarl and Rolandao embarked on their mission to banish Belthir to Earth," he continued, leaning closer as if sharing a secret. "But it wasn't just a simple exile. Oh no, there was more to it than that."

I leaned in, eager for the next part of the story. The airport noise faded into the background as his voice took on a melodious quality, painting vivid images in my mind.

"The Doctora, in all their wisdom, knew that simply banishing Belthir wouldn't be enough. They wanted to teach him a lesson, to show him the consequences of his actions," he said, his voice dripping with intrigue. "So they stripped him of his demonic powers and transformed him into a mortal."

"A mortal?" I repeated, my eyes widening with astonishment. "But why?"

"Belthir had grown arrogant and believed he was invincible," the man explained. "The Doctora wanted to humble him, to make him experience the limitations and struggles of humanity. They wanted him to learn empathy and compassion – qualities that were sorely lacking in his demonic nature."

I nodded, thoroughly engrossed in the story. The concept of a fallen demon turned mortal intrigued me, and I could feel the weight of the lesson he was about to unveil.

"Now, as a mortal, Belthir found himself lost and bewildered in a world he once saw as beneath him," he continued, his voice tinged with a hint of pity. "He had to navigate the complexities of human emotions, face hardships, and confront his own past actions."

I leaned back in my seat, mulling over the implications of Belthir's transformation. It was a powerful allegory for redemption and the potential for change, something so deeply resonant with the human experience.

"But that's not all," the man added, a mischievous glimmer in his eyes. "Belthir wasn't alone. The Doctora sent a companion to guide him and ensure he didn't stray from his path of learning."

"A companion?" I asked, my curiosity piqued.

"A young girl named Lila," he replied, a gentle smile playing on his lips. "Lila possessed a pure heart and a genuine desire to help others. She was placed in Belthir's path to offer him guidance, compassion, and a chance at redemption."

I couldn't help but feel a surge of excitement at the prospect of Lila's role in this extraordinary tale. The relationship between Belthir and Lila hinted at a complex dynamic, one that could potentially blossom into something beautiful.

"Throughout their journey together, Belthir and Lila would face countless trials and tribulations," the man said, his voice growing softer as if imparting a solemn secret. "They would discover the power of forgiveness, the strength of friendship, and the importance of second chances."

A chill ran down my spine, realizing the profound themes and messages embedded within this epic tale. It was a story about redemption, about the potential for change and growth within even the most broken of souls.

I glanced at my watch, realizing that my flight was boarding soon. Reluctantly, I interrupted the man, knowing that I couldn't hear the rest of the story.

"That's incredible," I said, exuding genuine awe. "Belthir's journey sounds like a profound lesson in humanity and the power of redemption. I wish I had more time to hear the rest of it."

The man smiled, a glimmer of pride in his eyes. "Perhaps we'll meet again someday, Miss Rey. And then, I can share the rest of the Doctora's tale with you."

As I gathered my belongings and made my way towards the boarding gate, a sense of anticipation lingered within me. The man's story had ignited a fire within my imagination, and I knew that even beyond the bounds of the airport, the world of Belthir and Lila would continue to beckon me. And perhaps, just perhaps, their journey would inspire hope and change within my own life.
