"Tom, what are you doing in here?" Cooper asked, leaning against the doorway to his son's bedroom.

Tom jumped, startled. He quickly closed the book he had been reading and looked up at his father with wide eyes.

"I was just... uh..." Tom stammered, trying to think of a plausible excuse for why he was in Murph's room. But Cooper could see right through him.

"You were looking at your sister's old stuff again, weren't you?" Cooper said with a knowing smile. He walked into the room and sat down on the edge of Murph's bed. "You know, she used to get mad at me for doing the same thing."

Tom shrugged. "I'm just curious," he said. "I want to know more about what she was like."

Cooper nodded understandingly. It had been several years since Murph had left for the new colony on Edmunds' planet, and both he and Tom still missed her every day.

"I get it," Cooper said. "But you should probably ask her permission before going through her things."

Tom nodded sheepishly.

"So," Cooper said, changing the subject. "What were you reading?"

Tom hesitated for a moment before handing the book over to his father.

"It's her old science journal," Tom explained. "I found something really interesting in there."

Cooper flipped through the pages of the journal until he came to the one that Tom had marked with a sticky note. His eyes widened as he read what was written there.

"These are GPS coordinates," Cooper said, looking up at Tom in surprise. "Do you think they're real?"

"I don't know," Tom admitted. "But I thought maybe we could check them out together."

Cooper smiled proudly at his son. He loved how curious and adventurous Tom was, always eager to learn and explore new things.

"I'd like that," Cooper said. "Let's go on an adventure."

Tom grinned and the two of them hurriedly gathered their things. They didn't know what they would find at the GPS coordinates, but they were excited to find out.

As they drove down a dusty country road, Tom couldn't help but feel a sense of déjà vu. The landscape looked familiar, as if he had been there before. But that was impossible, wasn't it?

Cooper pulled the truck to a stop in front of an old, abandoned farmhouse. According to the GPS coordinates, this was the place they were looking for.

"Stay close," Cooper warned as he got out of the truck. "We don't know what we might find here."

Tom nodded and followed his father into the house. The floorboards creaked under their weight as they made their way through the empty rooms.

"There's nothing here," Tom said with disappointment as they reached the last room.

But then he noticed something strange. The dust particles in the air seemed to be moving in a pattern, swirling around in a small area near the corner of the room.

"Look at that," Tom said, pointing it out to his father.

Cooper frowned and walked over to investigate. He reached out a hand and felt a strange pull, as if something was tugging at him from inside the wall.

"We need to get this wall open," Cooper said urgently. He ran back to the truck and grabbed some tools while Tom watched in excitement.

It didn't take long for Cooper to remove enough of the wall to reveal a small hidden compartment. Inside was a small device that looked like some kind of advanced technology.

"What do you think it is?" Tom asked eagerly.

"I'm not sure," Cooper admitted. "But I have a feeling it's something important."

Just then, there was a flash of light and both Cooper and Tom were suddenly surrounded by a group of scientists in white lab coats.

"Cooper!" one of the scientists exclaimed. "We've been looking for you."

Cooper looked at the scientist in confusion. "Who are you?" he asked.

The scientist sighed and shook his head. "You don't remember, do you? You've been missing for over twenty years. We thought you were dead."

Cooper's mind was spinning. How could it be possible? He had only been gone for a few hours, hadn't he?

"I'm sorry," Cooper said. "I don't know what you're talking about."

The scientist looked at him sympathetically. "It's okay," he said. "We'll help you remember."
