Marguerite's Expletive Journey

It was a sunny and warm summer day in the Iron age in Germany. Among the rolling fields of bright green grass dotted with small orange and yellow daisies was one daisy in particular, mysteriously unaware of her dying commonality, for she had always believed she was something more. She named herself Marguerite and daydreamed of experiencing life outside this small patch of land she had known since first sprouting her proud, green stalk.

On a fateful day, Marguerite felt a tremor in the ground, distant enough to fill her with a bit of excitement yet close enough to scare her and make her cower between the roots of her near neighbor. This tremor eventually grew and the group of travelers suddenly found themselves in the midst of the field, weary and pleading to be left alone, as they feared being accused of espionage.

Marguerite couldn't help but be fascinated by their situation and feared the danger they may be brought. She wished desperately to help them, and after much deliberation, decided to go beyond the boundaries of the field that she had known all her life, and she guided them out of danger.

The travels, unable to thank marguerite for her help, decided to take her along on their journey, leading her out of her old life and closer to the answers she was searching for. Along the way, Marguerite experienced a whole host of emotions, from fear of the unknown to the ever-growing joy of the many miracles the world had to offer.

The travelers soon arrived at their destination, which to Marguerite felt like a foreign universe. Here, she learned of rules and regulations, of societies and rules to keep them in check. Most importantly, she began to learn of the insignificance of daisies in comparison to humans. But despite her countless lessons, Marguerite never lost her hope.

Throughout their journey, the travelers constantly pointed out how uniquely brave Marguerite was, how her presence alone could fill them with hope in even the most dire of times. Marguerite couldn't help but admire her newfound friends, and in their bittersweet goodbye, the travelers gifted Marguerite the courage of their faces, a courage she would forever see in herself whenever she encountered a difficult situation.

Little did Marguerite know however, her courage had a far-reaching effect. From her single act of risking her unusually short life for these strangers, an entire network of daisies started to rise up together, fearlessly protecting their kind no matter what happened.

Marguerite had grown so confident in herself and in the other daisies, that she had the courage to finally leave the place of her birth and look for something more. Unburdened by the rules and limits of her world and unafraid of what she may find, she continued her journey, taking small steps in her pursuit of discovering who she was and what it means to be a daisy in a world with no limits and no expiration date.
