Classroom Crush

Aiden and Mia sat in the back of their physics classroom, the afternoon sunlight streaming through the windows and casting a warm glow over the room. The teacher droned on at the front of the class, but Aiden and Mia were completely lost in each other's gaze.

Mia smiled shyly, her cheeks turning a delicate shade of pink. "What are you thinking about?" she whispered.

Aiden grinned, his blue eyes sparkling. "I'm thinking about how lucky I am to be sitting here with you," he replied.

Mia's heart fluttered at his words. She had been crushing on Aiden for months, but she never thought he would feel the same way. Now, here they were, sharing stolen glances and secret smiles while they should have been paying attention to Newton's laws.

Aiden leaned closer to her and whispered, "It causes an equal and opposite reaction."

Mia looked up at him gratefully as she repeated his words to the class. Their teacher nodded approvingly before continuing with the lesson.

Once they were no longer under scrutiny, Mia turned back to Aiden with a grateful smile. "Thanks for saving me back there," she whispered.

Aiden shrugged, a playful grin on his face. "Just returning the favor. You've saved me plenty of times with your notes."

Mia's smile widened as she remembered all the times she had discreetly passed him her meticulously detailed notes when he had been too busy daydreaming to take his own. She felt a sense of comfort and familiarity with Aiden, as if they were two puzzle pieces that fit together perfectly.

"So, do you maybe want to hang out this weekend?" Aiden asked, his voice laced with nervous anticipation.
