Moon Magic: Hermione and Y/N's Unexpected Journey

to find solutions, despite the constantly shifting landscape. All the while, unnerved by the uncertainty and grasping at straws to gain some semblance of control.

"Why?" I ask curiously despite knowing fully well why she must leave soon; because if anyone sees her then I will surely be put under observation and questioned about what I know about her existence, or worse yet, killed for knowing something that no one should know about other than me or whoever bestowed this knowledge upon me so many moons ago...

"How are you here?" I say instead, quickly trying to hide what really brought us both here today by using her appearance as an excuse for my own curiosity. She is, after all, quite different looking than anyone else walking around on this moon right now or even those who have walked around here in ages past. Clearly, she was not born here, nor did she age normally like everyone else does while living here either, which would contribute to her youthful appearance. How old could she actually be? How did she get here? Her lack of fear or concern about our current situation suggests that perhaps she is not aware of how dangerous it is for her to be here... Just like when we first met... No wonder she reminds me so much of Y/N... especially with all these questions... Maybe that's why I felt such a connection with her this morning?

"Many moons ago," she begins, slowly turning herself towards me fully now too, "when you were young," she adds with a hint of sadness in her voice which makes it clear that time has passed between then and now, even if it didn't seem like much has changed for her appearance-wise since we last met. "The elders asked me to watch over you."

The memory floods back into me all at once: how they came through doorways without moving them, then placed their hands on my forehead leaving strange imprints there before disappearing again without warning; how they spoke words that made no sense, yet opened up doors inside my mind which helped unlock abilities beyond normal human comprehension. They disappeared again without explaining why or showing any sign that they knew who I was in real life or the abilities they had bestowed upon me, other than telling me not to share them ever with anyone else... They also told me that one day someone special would arrive, someone who looked just like Y/N did back then but even more beautiful... But why would they tell someone who lives alone, far off from society - out in nature's embrace, where nobody has seen or heard from them in ages - that anyone was going to arrive one day? And who was Y/N anyway? Wasn't she just a character in some book? Or maybe just a figment of the imagination... Maybe I'm crazy after all...? No... There has to be something more going on here than meets the eye! Something big! The others wouldn't have sent someone special to look after someone who isn't important if there wasn't some kind of hidden meaning behind it all!

With this revelation, I realize that perhaps everything leading up to this moment was planned by those same elders who gave their cryptic warnings, then disappeared without saying anything more. What if they orchestrated these events, confident in their ability to predict how things would play out well ahead of time, and knew what would happen next without fail? As I grapple with this realization, I understand that I must tread carefully, now more than ever. The path ahead is uncertain, filled with potential danger and powerful secrets that could ultimately determine our fates. And as confusing and overwhelming as it may seem at times, providing clarity and finding answers lies uniquely within my grasp.
