Taryn's Transformation: A Fantasy Epic of Redemption

The vibrant kingdom of Axos was ruled by the Lord Regent Torrin and his beloved wife, Lady Syrin. Dark elf Taryn lived with her family in a humble estate on the outskirts of the kingdom. However, their lives were shattered one night when, out of nowhere, an eruption of energy known as Red Mountain split the land asunder. In no time, destroyed by the forces of erosion and weathering, the estate became worthless, leaving Taryn and her family destitute.

With no other choice, Taryn set out on her own, vowing to defeat her despair and make her family's fortune anew. Leaving Axos and venturing into unknown territories, little did Taryn know the journey ahead of her would be like nothing she could have imaging.

At a chance encounter in a remote enterprising village, Taryn meets Koldon, an old mage and traveling alchemist. After bidding her farewell, he gives Taryn a mysterious vial of liquid—urging her to protect it. Feeling a sense of purpose and haunted by a strange compulsion to keep her promise, Taryn quickly makes her own way.

When and unexpected confrontation leads the pair to a midnight showdown with an undead figure, Taryn and Koldon must conjure a powerful magical potion crafted from the mysterious vial. With a sudden flash of light, they are able to destroy their enemy before fleeing the scene unscathed, but not without consequences… Taryn has unwittingly bestowed upon her the power of the vampire.

Driven by the dark undead power, and the need to reclaim her family's old wealth, Taryn desperately must find a way to break the curse falling upon her. Immerse in the unknown world of magik, she must also tame her newfound skills so she may stay one step ahead of temporal and spiritual forces eager to arise and disrupt the order of nature.

Her exhaustive research and exploration revel many secrets, yet all roads seemed to lead to one location an ancient forest and hidden temple known as Aehevera Grove. Located far into the harsh, virtually-uncharted highlands, the grove was said to be a rumored haunt of vanquished spiritual beings, and Taryn would have to confront her darkest fears in order to defy the curse that afflicts her.

Not long after arriving in Aehevera Grove, Taryn not only uncovers the true history buried within its depths but is forced to face a powerful evil, who can only be beaten by the sacrifice of two key artifacts. Gaining aid from a number of unsavory sources and battling her crumbling faith, Taryn finds herself in a devastated and unrecognizable abode, now home to forgotten beasts, mysterious cults, and the embodiment of an immortal illness.

At a dramatic climax, Taryn defeats the powerful entity at the cost of her own life, but is saved at the last moment through the union of the two artifacts. Coming back from the edge of death, Taryn reveals the truth behind the vanishing of the old empire, while at the same time finding the strength to transcend the tyrannical powers of her curse.

Finally released from her affliction with newfound skills, Taryn embarks on a new journey as a savior, taking it upon herself to protect the wondrous kingdom of Axos, her cursed fate no longer burdening her heart.
