I love my sister, but she is such an infuriatingly stupid and vain person.

When we were kids, she always got better grades than me in everything, and the only thing she was ever good at was exercise.

And so when it came time for us to go to college together (which our parents thought was a great idea), she decided that she wanted to be a PE teacher, and I decided that I wanted to be a doctor.

I didn't really want to do this but I did it for my folks.

So here I am, studying hard every night in my dorm room for one of the most important exams of my young career, trying to get into a good medical school and make something of myself, while my sister is out there getting drunk with her slutty friends who think they're hot shit because they're all big athletes on the track team.

It's not fair! I can never seem to catch up! And now my whole future is in jeopardy because of her.

But I'm not just an idiot studying all night long; I have friends who are willing to spend time with me away from the books sometimes. And tonight they're going out to meet some girls they know who are also pre-med students...including my sister.

I don't know why she would even go out tonight with those people when she knows how important this exam is for me...she probably doesn't even care about anything besides herself.

I finished the last question on my exam early, so I decided to wait outside my dormitory building for my friends. It was cold outside and I wrapped myself in a blanket, trying not to let my anxiety get the best of me. But then as I walk down the hallway from the outside entrance back towards our room, what do I see?

*My sister* ?!?!?

*Smoking a cigarette?!?!*

*This cannot be real.*

*My sister is a student athlete? A smoker??*

*This is too much.*

"Hey sis!" I called out as I approached her group of friends," Hey guys! You guys remember me?!"

*They all say hi but didn't look happy.*

"What are you doing here?" My sister says angrily," What do you want?"

*This cannot be happening.*

"Oh nothing," I replied innocently," Just wanted to see what you guys were up to so I could hang out with you."

*Great line.*

"Whatever," She said as she turned around and went back inside," You aren't invited."

*Crap.*

"Wait! Wait!" I cried after her as she walked away from the door which had been propped open by one of her friends. They all crowded around her and whispered amongst themselves for about two minutes before walking away from the door and leaving me out in the cold hallway alone.

*Unbelievable.*

After about 5 minutes, another girl came up to the door and stood outside smoking a cigarette herself. She was pretty but clearly not very smart based on how many times she kept lighting up after each drag from her previous cigarette. After about 10 minutes of standing there next to her, I finally decided that it was worth taking a risk and introducing myself to her. "Hey" I said softly as we both looked down at our cigarettes while dangling them between our fingers," My name's Mike...what's yours?" She didn't respond right away so instinctively I responded by saying," Oh fuck it..." and extending my hand towards hers for a handshake. And sure enough...she slapped mine away like it were cooties or something and said," No thanks." So then I just said," Well...it was nice meeting you..." and began walking back towards my dorm building once again hoping that no one else would notice that someone had been standing outside smoking next to them for 15+ minutes. As soon as I walked into the building lobby, one of my friends was there waiting for me with a big smile on his face like he already knew what happened with my sister and wanted me to spill the rest of the details right now before going upstairs to meet his girl friend who was equally dumb as well (a psychology major). As we walked up 3 flights of stairs together he talked non-stop about his big plans for tonight so he wouldn't have time tomorrow morning to study once again which made him feel good about himself even though he failed 3 separate classes last semester before dropping them altogether (the first time he dropped any class) because he didn't want other people knowing how idiotic he really is (which we all knew anyway). We finally reached our floor of our dorm building where we met up with two other guys who had only seen their girlfriends twice since school started nearly 4 months ago (they commute together everyday from another state which means they don't actually live together) but nevertheless still put makeup on everyday like they were all going on dates every night until school ends this summer...which makes no sense whatsoever when you think about it logically but neither does anything anymore these days anyways so whatever: life goes on like a merry-go-round spinning fast enough already without us needing more momentum added on top every day anyways apparently: why else would anyone go around dating women who will never move in with them or even marry them unless they can show everyone else that they are Going Places In Life by having sex with lots of super hot women over here while spending time with those same super hot women over there at school? This is all just crazy talk anyways! But yeah! So we stop by their room first so they can say hi (and pretend not to be mad at each other) before stopping by our own room where nobody has called or texted us yet because nobody cares about us anyway--other than us obviously--and therefore nobody will miss us if we don't show up tonight either: life goes on like a merry-go-round spinning fast enough already without us needing more momentum added on top every day anyways apparently: why else would anyone go around being friends with people who are more interested in themselves than anything else anyways? This is all just crazy talk anyways! But yeah! So finally we get back into our room where we all say hello again--as if we hadn't seen each other in weeks--but nobody tells anybody anything interesting going on with their lives or otherwise since why would anyone bother doing things like that when life goes on like a merry-go-round spinning fast enough already without us needing more momentum added on top every day anyways apparently: why else would anyone go around spending time with people who are more interested in themselves than anything else anyways? This is all just crazy talk anyways! But yeah! So eventually everybody sits down in front of their laptops waiting for something interesting or funny enough or otherwise eventful enough or otherwise noteworthy enough or otherwise significant enough or otherwise newsworthy enough or otherwise unique enough or otherwise valuable enough or otherwise useful enough or otherwise helpful enough or otherwise insightful enough or otherwise interesting enough or otherwise worthwhile enough (and therefore different than anything else) that might possibly happen somewhere today anywhere anytime soon so they can sit there being happy reading somebody else's writeup about what happened instead of actually going out there doing something worthwhile and worthwhile-sounding themselves during this precious free time they have today during this limited period of free time available during this rare opportunity available right now right here right where you are right this second right now right now right now right now right now right now right now right now right now right now right now right now because life goes on like a merry-go-round spinning fast enough already without us needing more momentum added on top every day anyways apparently: why else would anyone go around posting something online instead of doing something worthwhile outside their bedrooms/basements/hamster wheels/caves/underground bunkers/toilets/shoes/grandmothers' houses/empty coffins/dirt piles/solar systems/galaxies etc etc etc etc???? This is all just crazy talk anyways!!! But yeah!!!!!!
