“I said I’d give you two shots, not two pints! You can’t drink like a man and then cry like a little girl when you feel the effects.”

“Oh shut up, William, you’re such a man.”

“I am a man, that’s why you love me.”

“I never said I loved you.”

“Yes you did, you said it last week.”

“I was drunk!”

“So was I!”

“Well, I don’t love you, I’m not even gay.”

“What?”

“I’m not gay, I just like a good time.”

“Well, I’m not gay either!”

“You are so gay.”

“You are a gay man.”

“I am not a gay man!”

“You love cock more than any other man I know!”

“No, I don’t, I’m just a very friendly guy.”

“Well, I don’t love you back, so how about we get outta here and find us some girls.”

“Ok, let’s go.”

The two men stood up from the table and staggered towards the exit. The bartender watched them leave and shook his head. He was always amazed by those two. They were regulars in the bar and had been there for days. They would spend all day drinking and arguing, and then disappear together. Sometimes they’d be gone for days at a time, but they always came back. Every day at lunchtime, they’d show up, sit down, and argue. It was a daily ritual, it didn’t matter what they were arguing over. They’d argue about politics, or sports, or the weather, or whatever. Whatever was on their minds. They’d argue for a few hours, and then one of them would say something to piss off the other, and they’d start throwing punches. Once they started fighting, they couldn’t stop. No one could break them up, they’d just keep going at each other, until they’d both beat the shit out of each other. And then maybe another day or two later, they’d show up again and do the entire routine all over again. The bartender never understood it, but he was sure glad they came around. A good fight in his bar was always a good way to get the day started off right.
